Heartfelt Love Notes January 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit, We Must Celebrate - Mini Valentines Cards, Envelopes & Treats Wrap Up - VI

Wow...what a gorgeous day it is outside today!!!  It's mostly sunny and an expected high temperature of 48.  It's so, so nice to see the sun again!!!

My share for today is Stampin' Up' Gable Box that I embellished for my Mini Valentine Cards, Envelopes and Treats that I designed using lots of Stampin' Up's new products and SU's January 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Heartfelt Love Notes.  Let's take a look at my embellished Gable Box Project:

What fun it was to embellish this new Gable Box from Stampin' Up!

So, inside my Embellished Gable Box is the 4 Mini Valentine Cards inside their Envelopes and the 4 Lollipops.  A PERFECT FIT!!!  (See my previous blog posts for the Card, Envelopes and Lollipops.)

I put the 4 Cards in their Envelopes in the Center of the Gable Box and two Lollipops on each side of the Cards, each in an opposite direction.

Here's where I started with the Gable Box:

For the Belly Band:
I trimmed out a piece of Real Red Cardstock to measure 2" x 12" and scored it at 2", 4", 8" and 10".  Unfortunately, the Gable Box is a little bit more than 12" around so I spliced about a 1/2" of more Real Red Cardstock onto the 2" x 12" piece and adhered it together in the back with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture below.  No Worries tho'!  The Ribbon will end up hiding the splice.

I then trimmed out a piece of SU's 2017-2018 Fresh Florals In Colors Designer Series Paper in the Powder Pink Floral Criss Cross Pattern to measure 1-5/8" x 12" and scored it the same as the Real Red Piece.  Again, as shown in the picture above, I spliced about a 1" piece of the DSP onto the end and adhered it together and to the Real Red Piece with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  It slid very nicely over the Gable Box.

Next, using SU's Home Sweet Home and Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies, I die cut the Hearts from Real Red Cardstock and adhered them to the Belly Band as shown in the picture above.

I cut a length of SU's Powder Pink 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon and wrapped it around the box, up and over the Handle of the Box and tied it into a Bow.

The Ribbon did hide the Splice on the back of the Gable Box nicely.

For my Collage Heart Tag:
Using SU's Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, I die cut a Scalloped Oval from SU's Vellum, one Oval from SU's Silver Foil Cardstock and one from Whisper White Cardstock (Optional: Whisper White Oval for the back of the Tag so your Glue does not show on the back of the Tag).

I sponged Powder Pink Ink onto the edges of the Scalloped Oval with my Sponge Dauber.

I adhered the Ovals together with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies, I die cut out the Large Heart from Powder Pink Cardstock.  I adhered this Heart to my Tag with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I also die cut out two Small Hearts; one from Powder Pink Cardstock and one from Real Red Cardstock.  And, two Leaves from Old Olive Cardstock.

Using SU's Sweet and Sassy Hearts Framelits Dies, I cut one Heart from Whisper White Cardstock.

The Tiny Hearts are from SU's Home Sweet Home and Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies.

I adhered all the Hearts onto my Tag with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Ribbon of Courage Stamp Set, I used my Basic Black Marker to color over the Sending Love portion of the stamp and stamped it onto Real Red Cardstock and die cut it out with SU's Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies.

I adhered my Banner with Stampin' Dimensionals in the Middle of the Banner only.

Using SU's Leaf Punch, I punched to Leaf Stems from Vellum and sponged them with Old Olive Ink with my Sponge Dauber.  I adhered the Leaf Stems and the 2 Old Olive Leaves with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

I randomly adhered some of the Wooden Hearts from SU's Hearts & Stars Wooden Elements to my Tag.

Finally, I cut a length of SU's new Silver Baker's Twine, tied it into a Small Bow and adhered it to my Tag with a rolled up Glue Dot as shown in the picture above.  I adhered my Tag to the center of the Bow with a Glue Dot.  It can be easily removed.

Long post and hope you made it through the end; but, Gosh, that was fun!!!

Stay warm my Friends and thanks for stopping by my blog!!!
