It's gorgeous out today with the sun shining full on. The winds are still high; but, not nearly as bad as yesterday. I'm thankful that my power stayed on the rest of the night.
If you haven't ordered your Stampin' Up It's a Sara Thing refill kit yet, you better hurry. SU anticipates that they will sell out some time today!
Stampin' Up
restocked the Clearance Rack this week. There's some awesome,
awesome deals. And, don't forget about the Retiring List of Products.
My share for today is Stampin' Up's CEO, Sara Douglass, It's a Sara Thing Paper Pumpkin Kit that she designed. It's amazing and so full of product. We even got a free gift of Four water color pencils with our kit this month. I've tried them out and I have to say that I'm addicted.
Let's take a look:
This was such a fun kit to play with especially with the free water color pencils. I felt like a kid again.
I love how the colors blend together. So much fun coloring and then, with just a little bit of water, it becomes magic.
Stampin' Up even used Sara's handwriting for the large Sentiments in the stamp set. I thought that was pretty cool!
The Envelopes were made with the Liner as part of the Envelope. Sweet! =)
I got just a titch of ink on my card above the You so I took my Signo White Gel Pen and covered it up.
This was a really neat card to see the colors blend together. There were four water color pencils and I ended up with seven different colors.
The Sentiments are really neat. I LOVE the BIG with the small letters. And how about those glitter flowers. Can I say LOVE one more time!!!
I LOVE this gem heart too! What a cool, cool design! =)
I used two different water color pencils on the Gem Heart.
You can see how the Gem Heart goes from light at the top to dark in the middle and then to light again at the bottom.
I also LOVE the splatter stamp that is in the stamp set. I didn't have to make my own splatters. =)
And, again, how about those glitter flowers!!! Sweet!!!
That's all I have for today. I hope you enjoyed my blog post! Thanks for stopping by!

I
recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects,
duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their
own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) -
Please give credit where credit is due. My cards and
projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog

We are to
expect some isolated thunder storms late again this afternoon and then a cool down for Friday and the weekend. We have some strong winds again today and more tree limbs down in the yard where I already cleaned up!!! The yard work is never ending when you live in the middle of the woods!!!

My share for today is the third Card from the Eastern Palace Card Class that Stampin' Up
designed for Demonstrators to teach as a class for their Customers. The
Stampin' Up products used are the new Eastern Palace Specialty Designer
Series Paper, Eastern Beauty Stamp Set and Eastern Medallions Thinlits
Dies. Kudo's to the Stampin' Up Designer for this class too! Another
Great job of designing some fabulous new Cards with some fabulous new
products!!!
Let's take a look at the third Card:
My Card Base is Stampn' Up's new Fresh Fig Cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4" for a side open Card.
My Card Front Panel is the Tranquil Tide with Dapper Denim Dots cut at 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I trimmed out a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock to measure 3-1/2" x 3-1/2". Using SU's new Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies, I die cut the Large and Medium Dies in the Center.
Using SU's new Eastern Beauty Stamp Set, I stamped the Petal Flourishes in Lemon Lime Ink as shown in the picture above.
I stamped the Border Flourishes (Brackets and Diamond shapes) in Fresh Fig Ink around the outside edge of the Large Circle Medallion as shown in the picture above.
I stamped my Sentiment in Dapper Denim Ink in the Center of the Medallions.
I adhered the Very Vanilla Panel to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I adhered the long Eastern Gold Border Vinyl Stickers above and below the Very Vanilla Panel.
I cut a 9" piece of SU's 1/8" Gold Ribbon, folded it in half and adhered it to the upper left corner of my Card with a Glue Dot.
I tied on one of SU's new Fresh Fig Mini Tassels around the Gold Ribbon with a piece of SU's Gold Thread.
Just elegant! Thanks again Stampin' Up!!!
O.K. I'm going to publish this post before my power goes out again!
