Mr. Penguin, from a previous blog post - http://lynnslocker.blogspot.com/2015/09/skiing-at-dusk.html, had an accident while skiing so, of course, I had to make him a get well gift telling him to get better quick. Take a peek!!!
One of Mr. Penguin's ski's fell right off and into the cup of hot chocolate when he took his tumble skiing. Too funny! The cup is from Stampin' Up's new stamp set called Cup of Cheer.
The penguin, attire and candy canes were stamped and die cut using SU's Snow Place stamp set and die cut with Snow Friends Framelits Dies.
I used SU's Square Pillow Box
die to make the pillow box and die cut a window in the middle. I put a
hot chocolate packet and a mini candy cane inside the pillow box so the
recipient of this gift can indulge in a Cup of Cheer!
Let's all hope that Mr. Penguin Get's Better Quick. This sentiment was stamped using SU's Fabulous Four stamp set. I masked off the Sorry You're Sick and only stamped the Get Better Quick portion of the stamp.
This was definitely a fun, fun project to make!

This project just CRACKS ME UP! How fun is this little penguin and his hot cocoa treats. You out-did yourself on this one Lynn.
ReplyDeleteLove it! The packaging is perfect for the cocoa and a candy cane stirrer! I love how you're cutting the windows in the pillow boxes, Lynn! My grandsons will love this little penguin if I can ever get him stamped. :)
