I just can't get enough of this Halloween Owl from Stampin' Up's Howl-o-ween Treat Stamp Set. Miss Owl-o-ween is on her way out to cast her spell on the unexpected who cross her path. Beware!
Miss Owl is sporting her Tangelo Twist Pumpkin Bag with her wand and a bottle of her deadly magic potion. I used Dazzling Details on the star on her wand and hat. It gives such a neat glittery glow. Those eye's have SU's Crystal Effects on them and they look just like a real owl's eye's. Just amazing!
Today's post has Miss Owl attached to a 'Double' Mini Treat Bag that Stampin' Up taught Demonstrator's how to make. Below is a side view:
For the double treat bag, you need to cut two of the larger bag pieces from SU's Mint Treat Bag Thinlits Die. Then you score at the 3/4" and 1/2" mark on the right hand side to form the gussets. Assemble the bag with sticky strip and trim a small portion of the peaked edge off the top. Then cut a piece of card stock measuring 3 3/4" x 1 5/8" and adhere to the bottom flaps of bag for the bottom of your bag.
As I promised to show you in yesterday's blog, I sponged the white side of the black SU Spider Web Doily with Tangelo Twist Ink. I just love being able to make them any color I choose for other cards or projects that are not a Holiday theme.
And, stop back tomorrow and I'll show what is hiding inside this treat bag!!!
