Another Stampin' Up Square Pillow Box - Treat/Card Holder

I'm sure you can tell by now how much I LOVE Stampin' Up's Into the Woods Designer Series Paper as I've shown it on my blog quite a bit lately.  The colors and designs are just phenomenal!

For today, I'd like to show you another Square Pillow Box that I altered and used as a treat holder this time.  Let's take a peek!!!

I die cut the Pillow Box die twice as you normally would do.  Then, I put each die cut in my Stampin' Trimmer and cut off 1 1/2" on only one end of each die cut on the rounded flap closure end.  This allowed me to create a Pillow Box with a lid after assembling it with Stampin' Up's Tear & Tape adhesive as normal.

The picture below shows the entire Pillow Box ensemble.

The picture above shows the Pillow Box bottom and lid, the treat that I had tucked inside and the embellishing pieces.

I used approximately 25" of Stampin' Up's Into the Woods Rich Razzleberry 3/8" Cotton Ribbon to tie the ensemble all together.  I LOVE the texture of this ribbon!

The Acorn Builder Punch was used to punch the bottom of the acorn out of Soft Suede Card Stock and the top from the Into the Woods DSP.  The top of the acorn was popped up using SU's dimensionals.

I took a piece of SU's 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon, cut the edges off along the sewing lines and pulled some of the burlap threads out to use for my bow.  I used one of the threads to tie to the stem on the acorn and then I created a loop in the thread so you can slip it over the bow on the Rich Razzleberry Ribbon on the Pillow Box.

For the treat, I took a Stampin' Up 4"x6" Cellophane Bag, filled it with candy corn, folded the top over and stapled it closed.

I stamped and die cut 3 leaves using SU's Vintage Leaves Stamp Set and Leaflets Framelits and glued them all together at the base of the stems.  I punched another acorn exactly like the one on the Pillow Box and adhered it to the leaves with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Another bow was made and adhered to the leaves with Multipurpoise Liquid Glue and then the whole thing was adhered to the Cellophane Bag with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Another Pillow Box Treat Holder made!!  Not sure who the recipient will be yet; but, I'm sure they will enjoy it.

Thanks for stopping in today!
