It's a beautiful, sunny day outside today in Midland, Michigan.  Our high temp for today is 64F with a low tonight of 43F.  The winds are WNW at 5 to 10mph.

My share for today is another Alternate Project that I designed using Stampin' Up!'s Tag Kit called Love, Santa.  This time, I paired my Love, Santa Paper Tag Kit with Stampin' Up!'s Love, Santa Treat Bags and Word Wishes Dies.  Let's take a look:

O.K. On to my project!!!

Here's another fun Slider Gift Tag/Gift Card Holder Alternate Project that I designed using some of the contents in Stampin' Up!'s Love, Santa Tag Kit called Love, Santa, Love, Santa Treat Bags and Stampin' Up!'s Word Wishes Dies from the Annual Catalog.  ONLY - I used the Love, Santa Treat Bags in a different way than their intended use!!!

I made my Slider Gift Tag/Gift Card Holder the same way as last Thursday's blog post instructions except I trimmed out my Basic White Panel to measure 4-1/4" x 8-3/8".  Click on the link below to see the instructions on how to make my Slider Gift Tag/Gift Card Holder.

My Front Panel is the Night of Navy/Dotted Line pattern from Stampin' Up!'s 6" x 6" Neutrals Designer Series Paper Assortments trimmed out to measure 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" and adhered to my Holder with Stampin' Dimensionals.

And now, the really FUN part...I trimmed off about 3-1/8" from the top of the Love, Santa Christmas Tree Treat Bag and trimmed a small portion off each side to get one layer of the Treat Bag.  And then, I used my Stampin' Blends to color the Christmas Trees!!!

I colored the Tree's with my Light Just Jade Stampin' Blend and the Stars with my Dark Daffodil Delight Blend.

I adhered the Treat Bag Christmas Trees to my Night of Navy panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue behind the Stars only so the glue does not show through the Bag.  (I have a bottle of Glue from Hell that I am using right now and have threatened to throw it away for over a week now.  I doesn't take much pressure for the glue to come out and I over-glued the top center tree and you can see the glue behind it.  Now you know why I am always saying to place your glue strategically so you can not see the glue behind the Vellum.  Well, the same holds true for plastic bags!!!)

Anyways, I adhered a Daffodil Delight Star Shaker Shape to each Tree.

Using the Word Wishes dies, I die cut out 'Merry' and 'Christmas' from Polished Pink Cardstock and adhered them to my Holder as shown in the picture above.  Don't forget to adhered the Dot to the I in Christmas.

I cut a length of the Just Jade & Gold 3/8" Braided Ribbon, wrapped it around my Holder and tied it into a Bow.

I made the Christmas Tree Tag from the Love, Santa Tag Kit and inserted it in the pocket of the Slider Gift Tag/Gift Card Holder.

There is a 'To' 'From' stamp in the Love, Santa Stamp Set so you can stamp it on the back of your Holder and/or the Tag.

You can also adhered a Gift Card onto the back of your Tag with Glue Dots too.

Now, I can hear my Niece, Amy, saying "Now who would have thought to use the plastic Treat Bag on a Card or Holder!!!"  BIG fun!!!
