Witty-Cisms, Hoot Hoot Hooray!, Layering Squares/Ovals - Center Panel Card With Gift Card Holder - VII

It's a cloudy day outside today in Midland, Michigan.  We got so much rain last night that our yard is kind of flooded and our pond is overflowing.  Our high temp for today is 64F with a low of 48F for tonight.  The winds are SSE at 10 to 20mph.

To order Stampin' Up! Last Chance Products, go to the Stampin' Up! website to Shop and please choose me, Lynn Gauthier, as your Demonstrator.

My share for today is a Retirement Card that I designed using Stampin' Up!'s Witty-Cisms Stamp Set and more Stampin' Up! products.  Let's take a look:

I really enjoy creating and designing Cards and Projects that have a Gift Card Holder incorporated into them.

My Card Base is Merry Merlot Cardstock cut to measure 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored and folded at 4-1/4" for a top folding Card.

I trimmed off 1" from each side of the Card Base Front to create my Center Fold Panel.

I trimmed out strips of Shaded Spruce Cardstock for the Left and Right sides on the Card Base Back.

I trimmed out some leftover pieces of Stampin' Up!'s Seaside Spruce 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper.

I adhered the strips together and to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

I trimmed out a Panel of Seaside Spray DSP, rounded the corners with Stampin' Up!'s Banner Triple Punch and adhered it to my Center Panel.

Using the Witty-Cisms Stamp Set, I stamped the Clock image in Shaded Spruce Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock.

I trimmed out a panel of Shaded Spruce Cardstock and adhered my Clock image to the panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using Stampin' Up!'s Shimmery Crystal Effects, I applied it to the Clock image.  When it was dry, I adhered it to my Center Panel.

I cut a length of 1/4" Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon, pulled the threads, tied them together with the Metallic threads from the Ribbon and adhered it to my Center Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

I adhered one of Stampin' Up!'s Designer Elements to the center of the threads.

Pictured above is my Center Panel Card opened up.  I made a little pocket on the inside of the Panel and adhered another Clock image to the pocket.

This Card design makes for a great Gift Card Holder.

I used the Layering Ovals to die cut Ovals for my Sentiment and adhered them to the inside of my Card.  I did sponge around my Sentiment Oval with Shaded Spruce Ink and a sponge dauber.

For this Card:

I used Shaded Spruce Cardstock for my Card Base.

I used Merry Merlot Cardstock and DSP for my Panels.

Using Stampin' Up!'s Hoot, Hoot, Hooray! Stamp Set, I stamped the Owl in Black Memento Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock.

Using my Stampin' Blends in Light and Dark, I colored the Owl with Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight and Petal Pink.

I adhered the Owl to my Card and embellished it with Petal Pink Sequins, Linen Thread and a Petal Pink Frosted Flower.

Pictured above is my Center Panel Card opened up.

I used the Witty-Cisms Stamp Set for my Sentiment.

What a great way to use up some scraps of Cardstock and DSP too!!!

And … I'm now in LOVE with Stampin' Up!'s Hoot Hoot Hooray! Stamp Set!!!  😊😊😊

Have a Blessed Day!!!

May Paper Pumpkin is sold out

Paper Pumpkin is selling kits in record numbers and May subscriptions have sold out. What does this mean?
Because we have sold out for May:
  • New customers will not be able to subscribe until May 11, 2020 and will receive their first kit in June.
  • Accounts currently in canceled or suspended status will be allowed to reactivate, but will not receive the May kit. Subscribers that reactivate after we sold out will be reactivated for the JUNE subscription period.
  • Subscribers will not be able to modify their kit quantity to add more kits to their May order.
We have placed a sold out message on the paperpumpkin.com subscribe page with the above information for customers.
Please note that anyone in active status before we sold out will still receive the May kit unless they choose to suspend or cancel their subscription before the end of the May subscription period on May 10.
We sincerely appreciate your contribution to Paper Pumpkin’s incredible growth, and we are grateful for your patience as we work to accommodate ever-increasing numbers of subscribers.

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!
I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
