Friends of a Feather October 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Alternate Gift Card/Note Card Holder - IV

It started out as a gorgeous sunny day and then it clouded up.  Our high temp is 54 and we are to expect rain and/or a thunderstorm towards supper time today.

My share for today is an Alternate Gift Card/Note Card Holder using items from Stampin' Up!'s Friends of a Feather October 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit.  Let's take a look:

My Card Base is Grapefruit Grove Cardstock.

I trimmed off a portion of the Card Front.

I trimmed out a portion of the Crumb Cake Card from the kit.

I adhered the Scalloped Crumb Cake portion to the inside of my Card with Tear & Tape Adhesive leaving a pocket to slide in my Note Card.

I trimmed out a portion of the inside of the Envelope (leaving the Flap attached) from the kit and stamped 3 of the Feathers from the Friends of a Feather Photopolymer Stamp Set from the kit in Night of Navy Ink.  I adhered the Flap down and to the inside of my Card over the top of the Scalloped portion with Tear & Tape Adhesive so that it formed a pocket for my Gift Card.

Using Stampin' Up!'s Circle Tab Punch, I punched out 2 Tabs from Grapefruit Grove Cardstock.  I adhered one to the Gift Card with double sided tape.

I designed my Note Card with panels that I trimmed out from the Envelopes in the kit.

I did my stamping and then adhered all the panels and die cuts together.  I adhered the last Circle Tab to the edge of my Note Card.

Tip ... (I always lay my die cut label up-side-down over the paper that I am stamping on and then stamp so the edge of the stamp hits the back edge of the die cut label ... I then flip the die cut label right-side-up and adhere it over my stamping ... this technique gives you perfect stamping alignment every time).

The picture above shows the inside of the Gift Card/Note Card Holder with the pockets empty.

I trimmed out the Night of Navy Negative piece after the Leaf Die Cuts were removed and adhered it partially over the shortened edge of the Card Front.

I adhered 3 of the Night of Navy Leaf Stems as shown in the picture above.

I tucked my Note Card and Gift Card into the pockets and adhered 3 of the Copper Adhesive Backed Sequins from the kit onto my Card as shown in the picture above.

The last thing to do was to cut a length of the Metallic Twine, tie it in a Bow and adhere it under the edge of the Sequin on the front of my Gift Card/Note Card Holder.

If I have a Good Friend or a Relative in the hospital, I like to give them a Gift Card from the hospital Gift Shop so they can purchase a personal item, newspaper, magazine, crossword puzzle, candy; etc.  I prefer a Gift Card so someone can get what the person needs rather than have to lug home flowers or a plant.

If you have any questions about ordering or want instructions to make any of my Cards and/or Projects, please e-mail me at dodge3670 at aol dot com.  I will no longer be putting the instructions on my blog posts.  If you leave a comment in the comment section, I cannot respond back to you as I would need your e-mail address.  I can leave a reply to your comment on the actual blog post; but, I cannot contact you without an e-mail address.  Thank you and I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

I'm so glad that all my blog followers understand about giving credit where credit is due.  It has been a real honor and pleasure to help out everyone that has e-mailed me for instructions for my designs.  It is also fun to get to know everyone that is e-mailing to me.  If I can help in any way, please let me know by e-mail at   Dodge3670 at AOL dot COM.

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
