Stampin' Up Many Happy Birthdays February 2017 Monthly Paper Pumpkin Kit - Alternate Treat Holders - III

Goodness, it's cold outside this morning.  The sun is shining so nice; but, the wind is strong and it won't even get to 30 degree's today!  It's supposed to warm up this weekend though.  Hopefully!

My share for today is Stampin' Up's Many Happy Birthdays Monthly Paper Pumpkin Kit from February.  I designed a Mini Treat Holder from the left over bottom portion of the Pre-Printed Cards from yesterday's Gift Card Holder project.

Let's take a look:

I LOVE how my Treat Holders turned out.  They each hold one Mini Ghirardelli Chocolate with CaramelTreat.

I made one Treat Holder from each of the 3 Pre-Printed Card designs from the Many Happy Birthdays Paper Pumkin Kit.  Pictured above is the Night of Navy design.

And...the Flirty Flamingo Design...

And...the Pool Party design.

I designed the Ribbon Belly Band so that it could be removed from the Treat Holder.

I trimmed 2-3/8" off of the bottom of the Pre-Printed Cards.  In the picture above, you can see the reverse side that shows the Pre-Adhered Adhesive tape on the Left side and the Pre-Scored Flap on the Right side.

So, from the Adhesive Tape (Left Side) score at 2-1/2", ignore the already Pre-Scored center Score and score again at 3".  (Only FOLD the 2-1/2", 3" and the Pre-Scored Flap Score Line on the Right.  (DO NOT FOLD the Pre-Scored center line.)

Using my 1/4" Handheld Circle Punch, I punched 3 Circles from the leftover Glitter Sheet and adhered them to the front of my Treat Holder as shown in some of my pictures.

Adhere your selected candy treat to the inside of the Treat Holder with Glue Dots as shown in the picture above.

Fold up your Treat Holder as shown in the picture above.  You can use the Adhesive Strip that is already adhered to close up your Treat Holder if you want - or -  I chose to make the Ribbon Belly Band to hold my Treat Holders closed.

I wrapped a length of SU's Sale-a-Bration 3/8" Metallic Gold Ribbon around the Treat Holder and tied it off in a knot.  I trimmed each end on an angle.

I took about 3-1/4" length of the Ribbon and pulled apart the strands.  (Save a Gold Metallic Strand to tie your Sentiment Tag onto your Treat Holder in a later step).  I used one of the white strands of the Ribbon to tie around the rest of the stands to hold them together.  I adhered the knot in the strands to the Knot in the Belly Band Ribbon with a dab of Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  I let the Glue get somewhat tacky before I put the strands on the Glue.

I adhered one of the Candle Flames from the kit to the back of the Ribbon with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  Again, I let the Glue get tacky before I put the Candle Flame on the glue.

Using the Many Happy Birthdays Stamp Set and the Flirty Flamingo Ink Spot included in the kit, I stamped the Dashes or Dots Stamp onto Whisper White Cardstock by stamping off once onto scrap paper and then onto my cardstock.  I then stamped my Sentiment in Night of Navy Ink (you could also use the Island Indigo Ink Spot that is included in the kit) right over the Dashes and Dots and trimmed my Sentiment out.

I used my SU 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch and punched a hole in the left end of the Sentiment Tag.  I angled the end with the hole and flagged the opposite end.  I inserted the Saved Gold Metallic Strand through the hole and tied it off.  I then wrapped the ends of the  strand around the tied together strands on the Belly Band and tied it off.

And, I adhered a Flirty Flamingo, a Night of Navy and an Island Indigo Enamel Circle Shape to each Treat Holder in the center of the strands of Ribbon.

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!
