Stampin' Up Many Happy Birthdays February 2017 Monthly Paper Pumpkin Kit - Tags - V

It's going to be a pretty nice day out today.  High's will be around 50 and we may get a rain shower later today.  The rest of the week looks pretty nice also.  Yay Spring!!!

My share for today is Stampin' Up's Many Happy Birthdays Monthly Paper Pumpkin Kit from February.  I designed 3 Tags from the bottom left corner of left over portions of the Pre-Printed Cards from other projects.  The Stampin' Up products that I used to make the Party Hats are Wish Big Framelits Dies and the Bows from Cupcakes & Carousels Embellishment Kit.

Let's take a look:

My Tag Bases are from the bottom left corner of the Pre-Printed Cards that measure about 2-3/8" x 3-1/16".

If you were cutting the Tag Base from scratch, you would cut up the score line from the bottom middle of the Pre-Printed Card and then cut that portion out so it measures 2-3/8" x 3-1/16".

I then trimmed the top of my Tag Base on an angle on each side starting at the score line.

Using the Many Happy Birthdays Stamp Set from the kit, I stamped Happy Birthday in Night of Navy Ink on the back of my Tags.

Using my SU Handheld 1/4" Circle Punch, I punched holes in the top center of my Tag Bases.

I cut a length of SU's Sale-a-Bration 3/8" Gold Metallic Ribbon and tied it through the hole.  I used my SU Snips to angle the ends of my Ribbon.

Using SU's Wish Big Framelits Dies, I die cut the pieces for my Party Hats from the coordinating colors:
Pool Party, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Night of Navy, Calypso Coral, Island Indigo and Whisper White

I used the Frosting dies to make the scalloped pieces for the Hats.  Just trim off the ends as needed as they will hang over the edges of the Hats.

I used my SU 1/4" Handheld Circle Punch and punched 6 Circles from the left over Glitter Paper from the kit and adhered them to my Hats with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I assembled my Party Hats using Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered the Hats to the Tags as shown in the pictures above using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I stapled about a 3 to 3-1/2" length of SU's Gold Sequin Trim to the tip of the Hat using small staples.  I also added some Mono Multi Purpose Glue to really keep the trim in place.

I adhered the Bows from SU's Cupcakes & Carousels Embellishment Kit to the die cut flowers and then to the tip of the hat covering the staple with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered SU's Circle Enamel Shapes to the centers of the Bows.

These little Party Hats were so fun to make and very addicting!

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!
