Stampin' Up Many Happy Birthdays February 2017 Monthly Paper Pumpkin Kit - Alternate Cards - I

I think we are getting February weather in March now.  The temp's have turned really cold again and we are expecting 1 to 3" of snow.  Our ground is covered with the white stuff already.  Yuck!

My share for today is Stampin' Up's Many Happy Birthdays Monthly Paper Pumpkin Kit from February.  I assembled the Candle Birthday Insert Slider Cards as per the included instructions except I made a few changes on the Slider Insert.

Let's take a look:

Pictured above are two of the Many Happy Birthday Cards that I assembled as per the instructions in the kit.

I used my SU 1/4" Handheld Punch to punch some small circles from the leftover glitter paper in the kit.  I adhered 3 of the Glitter Dots to the outside of each card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

For the card insert pictured above, I stamped the Happy in Night of Navy Ink twice, once on the insert and once on a scrap of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock.

I stamped the Birthday 3 or 4 times in the same spot to give it a much bolder look.

I trimmed out the word Happy from the Flirty Flamingo Cardstock to measure 3/4" x 2-1/4" and adhered it with Mono Multi Purpose Glue just above the stamped Birthday.

For the insert pictured above, I stamped the word Happy several times down the center of the insert with Night of Navy Ink.

I trimmed out two pieces of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock to measure 7/16" x 2-5/8" and adhered them with Mono Multi Purpose Glue to the insert as shown in the picture above.

I stamped the Dots on Whisper White Cardstock and used my Stampin' Trimmer to trim them out slightly shorter and narrower than the Flirty Flamingo Cardstock.  I flagged the ends and adhered them to the insert with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I stamped the Birthday and the To You stamps towards the bottom of the insert with Night of Navy Ink.

I trimmed out a scrap of Night of Navy Cardstock to measure 5/16" x 2-5/8" and adhered it to the insert with Mono Multi Purpose Glue in between the Birthday and the To You.

I stamped the Dashes in Flirty Flamingo Ink on to Whisper White Cardstock and used my Stampin' Trimmer to trim it out slightly shorter and narrower than the Night of Navy Cardstock.  I flagged the ends and adhered it with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I stamped the word Pull on the Tab as shown in the above picture.

I adhered 3 Glitter Dots randomly to the insert with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!
