Stampin' Up Sneak Peek 2017 Occasions Catalog, Falling in Love, Dragonfly Dreams, Special Reason, Detailed Dragonfly, Stylish Stems - One Sheet Wonder - Card Box

It's cloudy this morning and the sun is supposed to shine, hopefully, this afternoon.  Our temperatures are supposed to be above normal for today with a high of 38 and no wind.  Gosh, what a difference 38 degrees makes.

My share for this "week" and today is a One Sheet Wonder that I created last weekend and I've shared 2 cards a day for the last 3 days.  Today I have a very pretty Card Box that will hold all 6 cards.  The Stampin' Up products that I used from the new 2017 Occasions Catalog are Falling in Love Designer Series Paper, Dragonfly Dreams and Special Reason Stamp Sets, Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies and Stylish Stems Framelits Dies.

Let's take a look:

Yay!  I did get to make the Surprise Card Box that I wanted to make and share with you today!  I also finished embellishing my Card Box for the 6 - One Sheet Wonder Cards.  I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!!!

The Card Box is 4-5/8" in width and  5-7/8" in length and very simple to make.

I used Very Vanilla Cardstock for both the top and bottom of the Card Box.

For the top of the Card Box:
Trim out your Cardstock to measure 7-7/8" x 6-5/8" and score and fold at 1" on all four sides.
Snip one side of each corner up to the 1" score line.
Adhered corners with SU's Tear & Tape.

For the Bottom of the Card Box:
Trim out your Cardstock to measure 8-3/4" x 7-1/2" and score and fold at 1-1/2" on all four sides.
Snip one side of each corner up to the 1" score line.
Adhered corners with SU's Tear & Tape.

I trimmed out a piece of SU's Falling in Love Designer Series Paper at 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" and adhered it to the top of my Card Box with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Isn't this multiple mini Dragonfly Die just the coolest ever!!!  I'm in love with it and can't wait to make a shaker card with it.

Anyways, using SU's Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies, I die cut the multiple mini Dragonflies from Basic Black Cardstock and adhered them to my Card Box with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's new Stylish Stems Framelits Dies, I die cut the Solid Large Flower and the Detailed Large Flower from Very Vanilla Cardstock and adhered them together with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  I adhered the Flower to the bottom left corner of my Card Box with Mono Multi Purpose Glue in the center of the flower only.  *Leave enough room to slide your ribbon in later.

Using SU's new Special Reason Stamp Set, I stamped the two leaves in Old Olive Ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock.  I die cut them out and adhered them under the flower with Mono Multi Purpose Glue. *Leave enough room to slide your ribbon in later.

I adhered one of SU's new Falling in Love Embellishments to the center of my flower with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's new Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set, I stamped the Dragonfly twice onto SU's Vellum Cardstock with Basic Black Archival Ink. *Be careful when you stamp on Vellum as it can be slippery and your stamp can slide on the Vellum.  I then stamped both Dragonflies using the Wings stamp and Sweet Sugarplum Ink. *I stamped the top of the Wings and underneath the Wings too - it gave it a bolder color which I was going for.

I trimmed out a piece of Basic Black Cardstock at 1/2" and die cut just the Body of the Dragonfly.  I trimmed off the leftover Wing portions on each side and adhered it to one of the Dragonflies with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I trimmed off the Head and the Long Tail portion from the other Dragonfly and adhered the two Dragonflies together with a small piece of Stampin' Dimensionals.  I then adhered the Dragonfly to the Card Box with another small piece of Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered two Basic Jewel Rhinestones for the Eye's to the Dragonflies Head and colored in just the centers of the Rhinestones with a Black Sharpie.

I decided not to use my Wink of Stella this time around.

I used SU's new 3/8" Very Vanilla Ribbon and tied it around and under the flower on the left side of the Card Box and into a Bow.

There was plenty of room in the Card Box for the lid to stay closed nicely without the ribbon as you can see in the picture above.

I just LOVE SU's new Falling in Love Designer Series Paper.  It's So Pretty!!!
