Stampin' Up Sneak Peek 2016-2017 Holiday Catalog Cookie Cutter Halloween Jar of Haunts Spooky Fun Halloween Treat

Yay!  Stampin' Up's new 2016-2017 Holiday Catalog goes live today!!!  Enjoy!!!

My share for today is a card that I designed using Stampin' Up's new Cookie Cutter Halloween, Jar of Haunts, Spooky Fun and Halloween Treat Stamp Sets available to order Sept. 1 from SU's new 2016-2017 Holiday Catalog.

Let's take a look:

The Cookie Cutter Halloween and Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp Sets have become two of my FAVE new sets from Stampin' Up's new 2016-2017 Holiday Catalog.  I just love the characters!!!

My card base is Basic Black Cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored and folded at 41/4".

My card front panel is a piece from SU's new Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper cut at 3-1/2" x 5-1/2".  I stamped the Spider Web's in the top corners using Basic Black Archival Ink and then adhered it to my card base with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

My little helper, Boris, helped me stamp the Spider Web's in the corners of my card front panel.  You can see a few extra lines in my webs where Boris, my cat, gave me a few nudges while I was stamping them to tell me he needed some lovin' with some scratches behind his ears and a belly rub.  So, after lovin' up my Boris, he cat napped and I was able to finish up my card.  =)  He's such a sweet cat; but, like a Bull in a China Shoppe!

I stamped the Spiders using SU's new Spooky Fun Stamp Set in Basic Black Archival Ink.

Using SU's Layering Ovals, I die cut two ovals; one in Basic Black and one in Old Olive Cardstocks.  I adhered the Basic Black Oval to my card front using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue and the Old Olive Oval with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I stamped the Candy Corn from SU's Jar of Haunts Stamp Set, colored then with Stampin' Write Markers in Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight and adhered them to the Old Olive Oval with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I stamped Vampire Boy and his Ears from Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set onto Shimmery White Cardstock and colored them in with Stampin' Write Markers in Blushing Bride, Pumpkin Pie and Wisteria Wonder.  I adhered his ears onto his head with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue and then onto the Old Olive Oval with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I brushed some Gold Wink of Stella onto the Boy's Cross.

I stamped the Candy Bag from Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set onto Whisper White Cardstock, colored it in using Stampin' Write Markers in Elegant Eggplant, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie and adhered it to the Boys hand using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I stamped 3 bats, again, using Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set in Basic Black Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock, fussy cut them out and adhered two of them up-side-down onto the top of the Old Olive Oval with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue leaving their wings free to fly.  I adhered the third bat to the top of my card front panel up-side-down using a small piece of Stampin' Dimensionals.

I colored in two eye's on each bat using my White Signo Gel Pen.

Using SU's Lots of Labels Framelits Dies, I die cut a label from Whisper White Cardstock and adhered it to the inside of my card using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I trimmed out a piece of Pumpkin Pie Cardstock at 2-1/2" x 2-1/4" and adhered it to the top of the Label, again, using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

Using SU's new Halloween Treat Stamp Set, I masked off the Spiders, Happy Halloween and the lines, colored the Pumpkins and the Trick or Treat using Stampin' Write Markers in Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive, huffed on the stamp to rejuvenate the ink and stamped it onto a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock.  I trimmed the cardstock to 2-1/8" x 1-3/8" and adhered it to the Pumpkin Pie Cardstock using two pieces of SU's new Halloween Night Designer Washi Tape.

This was a fun card to create.

That's all I have for today!  Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
