Stampin' Up Baby Bear My Hero Pop of Pink DSP III

We are expecting some more heavy rains again.  Now, we will probably get too much rain.  Isn't that something!

My share today is a couple cards that I designed using Stampin' Up's Baby Bear Stamp Set for Valentine's Day cards.  The versatility of this stamp set is just phenomenal.  I also used SU's Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper, My Hero Stamp Set, Layering Squares Framelits and Sweet & Sassy Heart Framelits Dies.

Let's take a look:

My card base is SU Melon Mambo Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2".

My card front panel is the heart piece from SU's Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper cut at 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" and adhered to my card base using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Layering Squares Framelits, I die cut a square from Basic Black Cardstock that measures 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" and adhered it to my card front panel with Stampin' Dimensionals.

SU's Baby Bear Stamp Set is a 3-Step Stamp Set using the bear images.  I started out by stamping the most detailed Bear image with Crumb Cake Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, the next Bear image with Soft Suede and the least detailed Bear image with Early Espresso.

The images are pretty easy to line up as you can see through the Photopolymer stamp and a clear block.  Even if you miss a little, they still turn out gorgeous!  I wasn't quite spot on with all of the bears that I stamped.

Using the Scalloped Square that measures 3" x 3", I die cut out the bear and adhered him to the Basic Black square using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

The Bears' Bow in this set is a two-step stamping technique.  I stamped the least detailed Bow image using Melon Mambo Ink and the most detailed Bow image using Real Red.  I fussy cut the bow out.

I adhered the Bow to the Bear using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I stamped the Valentine Heart image from SU's My Hero Stamp Set in Melon Mambo on Whisper White Cardstock.  I die cut it out using SU's Sweet & Sassy Heart Framelits and adhered it to the bear with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the inside of my card, I die cut another heart from Whisper White Cardstock and stamped my sentiment using Basic Black Archival Ink.  I adhered it to the inside of my card using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

And, again, I adhered a Melon Mambo Circle Enamel Shape to the bow and a Heart shape on the white scalloped square.

Here's another version of the card I made.

My card base is actually in two pieces.  The largest, folded piece measures 4-1/4" x 7-1/2" and scored and folded at 2".

The separate bottom piece measures 2" x 4-1/4".

I stamped my bear the same as above onto a 3-1/8" x 3-1/4" piece of Whisper White Cardstock, rounded the corners with my Project Life Corner Rounder Punch and adhered it to the top and bottom pieces of my card base.

Here's the inside of my card.

Hope you enjoyed today's blog post!

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Have a great day!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
