We are supposed to have a nice weekend weatherwise so I'm hoping I can get my Hubby to take me out fishing. I can't wait for the weekend!
card share for today is Stampin' Up's Bella & Friends Stamp Set,
Moroccan Designer Series Paper and Tag & Labels Framelits Dies.
Let's take a look at my third card:
Now, how about this cute little parrot! He's just too funny in my mind. I haven't colored a parrot before so I had to look them up on the internet to see what color they are. I immediately thought of SU's Cucumber Crush Ink.
My card base is a piece of Stampin' Up's Moroccan Designer Series Paper cut at 3" x 6" and scored and folded at 3".
My card front panel is Stampin' Up's Shimmery White Cardstock cut at 2-3/4" x 2-3/4". If you are one of my blog readers (Amy), you all know by now that this is my FAVE cardstock to color with markers or water color.
Using my Project Life Corner Rounder Punch, I rounded the top left and right corners of my card front panel.
I stamped the little parrot and sentiment from SU's Bella & Friends Stamp Set in Basic Black Archival Ink.
I colored the parrot using Stampin' Write Markers in Cucumber Crush, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Flirty Flamingo.
Using my SU 1/16" Circle Handheld Punch, I punched a half notch in the bottom left and right hand corners of my card front panel, wrapped some SU Cucumber Crush Thick Baker's Twine around and through the notches and tied it into a knot. I trimmed and fanned out the end of the baker's twine.
I adhered my card front panel to my card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.
die cut a small labels from SU's Tags & Labels Framelits Dies using
Whisper White Cardstock and adhered it to the inside of my card using
Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I just LOVE the patterns and colors in the Moroccan Designer Series Paper. Both sides are just gorgeous!
And, of course, I had to add one of SU's Gold Circle Enamel Shapes.
That's all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope you can stop by the rest of this week and next to see the rest of my Bella & Friends series of cards.
Have a great day!
recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects,
duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes. My cards and
projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or
sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my
creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions
cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
