Stampin' Up Timeless Textures You're So Lovely Cards

Ugh!  It seems that the never ending white stuff has hit us again!!!  We got another inch of snow this morning.  Will it ever end!!!

Today I have some really great cards to share with you!  On one of the weekends that Kadie and I crafted over the internet, Kadie wanted to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) a card by one of Stampin' Up's Artisan's, Kimberly Van Diepen.

Here's the link to Kimberly's site:   http://stampinbythesea.com/youre-lovely-project-kit

Stampin' Up has a Team of Artisan's who are the best of the best!  I adore Kimberly's work and love to visit her blog as often as time allows me too!

So, today's share is my take on Kimberly's card.  Let's take a look:

The only thing I did different on the Thank You card was to stamp the tag using 2 of the stamps from Stampin' Up's Timeless Textures Stamp Set in SU Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede Inks.  Timeless Textures is an amazing stamp set that can be used as images on your cards or for background stamping.  One of my very FAVE sets from Stampin' Up.

And then, I couldn't stop at the one Thank You card and created this Friend card as I needed a couple cards to send out.

My card base is SU's Whisper White Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored at 5-1/2".

The front panel is SU's Shine On Designer Series Paper.  Love that Bermuda Bay!!!

The tag, gold embellishments, paper clips, sentiment banners and wreath and circle die cuts are from Stampin' Up's You're So Lovely Project Kit.  I had lots of left over pieces and it was fun to use some of them up (I still have more)!   =)

The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Rose Wonder Stamp Set which I stamped on the banner in SU Soft Suede Ink.

On this card, I used the circle die cut and tucked the tag inside some of the circles.  I also used the gold star embellishments.

Each card got a tied double bow using SU's Linen Thread.

The sentiment is from SU's Helping Me Grow Stamp Set which I also stamped in SU Soft Suede Ink.

Thank you Kimberly for sharing your awesome talent with us and for inspiring us to create cards of our own!

That's all I have for today!  Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  Please be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
