Stampin' Up Build a Birthday Cherry On Top Candles Card I

The weekend sure went by fast.  We had yucky weather again yesterday.  Started with snow, sleet, freezing rain and then rain.  Most of the snow is gone now and it's supposed to be in the 60's towards the end of the week.  Come on warm weather!!!

Today's card is just full of bright and cheery color.  Just what I needed to cheer me up!  Let's take a look:

My card base is Stampin' Up's Whisper White Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" scored and folded at 5-1/2".

I trimmed out a small panel of SU Bermuda Bay Cardstock at 1-1/2" x 4-1/4" and adhered it to the bottom of my card base using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I stamped the 3 different candles from SU's Build a Birthday Stamp Set in SU Bermuda Bay, Watermelon Wonder and Garden Green Inks on to Whisper White Cardstock.  I fussy cut them out and adhered them to my card base using Mono Mutli-Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Bird Builder Punch, I punched the wings 3 times with SU's Crushed Curry Cardstock and adhered them with Stampin' Dimensionals above each candle for the flame.  I used my Wink of Stella Pen and brushed the gorgeous sparkle on top of each flame.

I trimmed out a panel of Watermelon Wonder Cardstock at 1" x 4-1/4" and adhered it over the bottom of my candles using SU's Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered a piece of SU's Cherry on Top Designer Washi Tape through the center of the Watermelon Wonder panel.

I stamped my sentiment in the Bermuda Bay panel using SU's Build a Birthday Stamp Set and Memento Black Ink.
I tied a bow with SU's Basic Black Bakers Twine around a piece of SU's 1" Watermelon Wonder Dotted Lace Ribbon and adhered it to the base of my candles using SU's Glue Dots.

What a fun, bright and cheery card this turned out to be!

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!
