Stampin' Up Stake Your Claim Love Blossom Owls Valentine's Day Card

Today is another busy day.  We are going to be re-modeling my old craft room upstairs.  It's a huge room that goes all the way across the front of our house so it's going to be a big job.

So, on to my project for today!  Let's take a look:

Aren't these two little love birds cute!  I used Stampin' Up's Owl Builder Punch to build my Owls.

My card base is SU's Blushing Bride Card Stock.

For my card's front panel, I ran a 4"x5 1/4" piece of SU's Soft Suede Card Stock through the Big Shot using SU's Woodland Embossing Folder.

My two little Love Bird's are perched on top of tree branches that I punched out using SU's Tree Builder Punch and popped up with tiny pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.

My Lady Owl is showing off her dress from SU's Love Blossoms Designer Series Pack.

The sentiment is from SU's Stake Your Claim Stamp Set and stamped in SU's Blushing Bride Ink on SU's Whisper White Card Stock.  It was die cut using SU's Hand Picked Framelits Die and adhered to my card using Stamping Dimentsionals.

I'm at the very end of my Crystal Effects and time to throw my bottle out.  For some reason, it has these tiny, minuscule bubbles in it that won't go away so the Owl's eyes are a little bubbly.  I even tried tapping the back of the card to see if they would go away; but, NOPE!

For the inside of my card, I die cut a heart from SU's Heart Collection Framelit Die's (Reitred) from Whisper White Card Stock and adhered it with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from SU's Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set in SU's Rose Red Ink.  I trimmed the ends using SU's Bow Builder Punch to make it look like an arrow.

That's all I have for today!  Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  Please be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!

  1. Simply GORGEOUS card Lynn. And the color combination - FABULOUS! Sorry the tapping on the back of your card didn't work for the Crystal Effects. Might be time to place another SU order (after the 15th of course!).

  2. That is an adorable card! It makes me think of "Whoooo's looking at you, kid?"! This is great for Valentine's or it would good for an anniversary too. Good luck with the craft room project! Sounds like fun. :)
