Stampin' Up Love Blossom Owls Valentine's Day Card II - Happy Notes

Another nice day in Michigan!  We are having another melt down of snow which is totally fine with me.

I have my third Owl Love Birds card to show you today and then tomorrow I'll share a small 3D project with all of you.

Let's get to it:

Another pair of Love Birds!  These guys just make me smile over and over again.  I used Stampin' Up's Owl Builder Punch to build my Owls.

This time, I used SU's Garden Green Card Stock for my card base.

For my card's front panel, I ran a 4"x5 1/4" piece of SU's Soft Suede Card Stock through the Big Shot using SU's Woodland Embossing Folder.

My two little Love Bird's are perched on top of tree branches that I punched out using SU's Tree Builder Punch and popped up with tiny pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.

My Lady Owl is showing off her dress from SU's Love Blossoms Designer Series Pack.  SU did an awesome job with the Designer Series Paper in the Love Blossoms Pack.  LOVE the coordinating colors as it's so easy to match them up with SU's Card Stock.

The sentiment is from SU's Happy Notes Stamp Set found on page 64 of the 2015-2016 SU annual catalog.  I used the Marker-to-Stamp Technique to ink up my stamp.  I used SU's Garden Green Stampin' Write marker to color the sentiment.  I huffed on the stamp and stamped it on Whisper White Card Stock.  I did the same for the Rose Red Frame and the Rose Red Heart.  I punched out the small heart using the heart punch from SU's Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  The sentiment and frame were die cut using SU's Lot's of Labels Framelits Die's.  I adhered the frame to my card using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue and adhered the sentiment over the frame using Stamping Dimensionals.  I then adhered the small heart to the very bottom of the sentiment die-cut using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I'm at the very end of my Crystal Effects and time to throw my bottle out.  For some reason, it has these tiny, minuscule bubbles in it that won't go away so the Owl's eyes are a little bubbly.  I even tried tapping the back of the card to see if they would go away; but, NOPE!  I did call Stampin' Up and ask them how to get rid of them.  They said to use a small plastic card and swipe over the top of the crystal effects and it should get rid of them.  I've decided to throw my bottle out as there is hardly anything left in it anyways and try a new bottle.  Hope that works.

For the inside of my card, I used the Happy Mother's Day stamp from SU's Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set, masked off the word Mother's and stamped it in Rose Red on a thin strip of Whisper White Card Stock.  I stamped and punched another small heart and adhered it in between the words Happy and Day for my sentiment.

I used SU's Bow Builder Punch to punch the ends of my sentiment strip to make it look like an arrow.

That's all I have today.  Hope you enjoyed my blog post!  Thanks for visiting!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  Please be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
