Time For Fun - Birthday Cards

It's a gorgeous, sunny day outside today in Midland, Michigan.  Our high temp for today is 46F with a low tonight of 25F.  The wind is NNE at 5 to 10mph.  I'm so glad the wind calmed down.

My share for today is two Birthday Card's that I designed using lots of Stampin' Up! products; old and new.  Let's take a look:

My first Birthday Card is for my Great Nephew, Joey.  He is totally the Popcorn Kid.  So, I had to make this Birthday Card for him.

My Card Base is Highland Heather Cardstock.  (Sorry for the Bad Pic.  Yikes!  I'm not sure what happened; but, my Pic is darker than it should be and a little blurry on the HAPPY letters.)

Using the Happy Dies, I die cut HAPPY into the front of the Card Base.  (I saved the Negative Pieces for the Front and Inside of the Cards.)

I adhered two panels of the Highland Heather/White Striped pattern from the Hydrangea Hill Designers Series Paper and adhered them to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

My Hubby bought me this (2003) Stampin' Up! Stamp Set called Time For Fun for Christmas and I knew right away that I would be making Birthday Cards with this Stamp Set for my Great Niece and Nephew.  Ya' see, I'm not just a Good Aunt, I'm a Great Aunt.  Or, Anut Lynn, as Bree wrote on my Place Setting Name Tag at Christmas a couple years ago.  I couldn't stop laughing the whole time during supper.  Too Funny!!!  And...I still have the Name Tag on my desk so I can continue to Smile and think of her whenever I see it!!!

Anyways, I stamped the Boy Stamp in Memento Black Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock.

Using my Stampin' Blends, I colored the Boy in Light and Dark Just Jade, Balmy Blue, Soft Suede and Petal Pink.

I colored the Popcorn and Box with Real Red and Daffodil Delight.

I colored the Cotton Candy with Highland Heather and the Cone with Soft Suede.

Using the Layering Circles Dies, I die cut out the Boy.

Using the Layering Ovals Dies, I die cut out a Scalloped Oval from Highland Heather Cardstock.  I adhered the two together with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered a Negative Die Cut, from die cutting the Word HAPPY, in each corner with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.  (I die cut an extra A in Happy to get more Negative Die Cuts.)

For the inside of both Cards:

Using the Well Written Dies, I die cut out the word Birthday from Highland Heather Cardstock and adhered it to the inside of my Card.  I also adhered two of the Negative die cuts, from die cutting the Word HAPPY, to make an Exclamation Point!!!

For Bree's Card:

My Card Base is Rococo Rose Cardstock...Oh No; Stampin' Up! sold out of my FAVE Rococo Rose.  Boo Hoo!!!  I am so disappointed!!!  😞😞😞

My Card Front Panel is the Rococo Rose/White Striped pattern from Sale-A-Bration Brochure Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper.  I adhered the Panel to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I colored the Girl with Highland Heather, Rococo Rose, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink and Soft Suede.

I colored the Ice Cream Bar with Pumpkin Pie and Soft Suede.

I colored the Balloon with Daffodil Delight.

Using the Layering Circles Dies, I die cut out the Girl.

Using the Layering Ovals Dies, I die cut out a Scalloped Oval from Rococo Rose Cardstock.  I adhered the two together with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using the Well Written Dies, I die cut out the word 'happy' from Highland Heather Cardstock three times and adhered them to my Card front as shown in the picture above.

And...I did the same on the inside of my Bree's Card as I did for Joey's Card.

This Little Girl just reminds me of Bree!!!  So cute!!!

Make something Cute and Brilliant today!!!
