Stampin' Up! January 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit Sending Hearts, True Love DSP - Alternate Love Card

It's a cloudy day outside today in Midland, Michigan.  The high temp for today is 23F with a low tonight of 15F for tonight.  The winds are WNW at 10 to 20mp.

My share for today is an Alternate Love Card that I designed using Stampin' Up!'s January 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Sending Hearts and some of the new products from the Mini Occasions Catalog.  Let's take a look:

My Card Base is Basic Black Cardstock.

My Card Front Panel is Petal Pink cut to measure 4" x 5-1/4" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I fussy cut out 2 separate pieces of the Black Outlined Flowers (from around the edges) of Stampin' Up!'s new True Love Designer Series Paper.  (I've done this for a long time now and it gives you extra usage from you DSP.)  The straight edges of the Flowers are tucked underneath the Strip of Basic Black so you don't see them.

Using my Stampin' Blends, I colored the Flowers with my Light and Dark So Saffron and my Leaf and Stem with Light & Dark Soft Seafoam.

I adhered my Flowers to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  (I always leave the edges of the petals, leaves and buds free of adhesive so I can give them a light curl with my fingers for some added dimension.)

Using the Flower/Heart Stamp from the Sending Hearts Stamp Set, I stamped 4 times on my Card with Soft Seafoam Ink as shown in the picture above.

I trimmed out a Strip of Basic Black Cardstock to measure 1-1/4" x 4-1/4" and adhered it to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered one of the LOVE die cuts from the Sending Hearts Paper Pumpkin Kit to the Strip with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using the Sending Hearts Stamp Set, I stamped YOU onto a scrap piece of Soft Seafoam Cardstock and backed it with a scrap piece of So Saffron Cardstock.  I adhered it to the Strip with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals on the top portion of the back of the piece only and let the bottom half of the piece hang free of adhesive.

I adhered some of the Hearts and Stars from the Sending Hearts Paper Pumpkin Kit and some of the new Matte Black Dots as shown in the picture above.
