Best Dressed, Peaceful Poppies, Dressed To Impress, All Dressed Up, I'll Bee Yours, Detailed Hearts, Small Bloom & Heart Punch Pack - Happy Mother's Day Purse Treat Holder - III

Again ... a cloudy day in Midland, Michigan.  Our high temp for today is 33F with a low of 27F for tonight.  The winds are light and variable.

My share for today is another Purse that I made using Stampin' Up! products from the new 2020 Mini Occasions Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.  Let's take a look:

First off ... I couldn't decide if I liked the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Bow on the handle of my Purse ... Or ..

… To leave the Bow off.  Which way do you like better???  Bow or no Bow???

Today, I'm going to show you some Trickery with my Purse project.  Do you see anything hidden in today's Purse project???

Using the All Dressed Up Dies, I die cut out my Purse from the Old Olive/White Dot pattern in the Best Dressed 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Pack.

I die cut out the Handles and the Label/Latch from Rococo Rose Cardstock.

I assembled my Purse using Mono Multi Purpose Glue and Tear & Tape Adhesive.  (Tip:  Use your Bone Folder to give the handles a Curl so they don't bend or create a fold in them.  And, it makes it easier to adhere the handles to the Purse.)

Using the Rococo Rose Heart Die Cut Sheet from the 2020 January Paper Pumpkin Kit, I punched out the Leftover Scalloped Negative Hearts (after the Hearts have been removed from the sheet) with the Scalloped Heart Punch.

I adhered the Negative punched piece to the center of my Purse.

I adhered the Rococo Rose Die Cut Heart from the Kit with Tear & Tape Adhesive (I trimmed the Tear & Tape in half lengthwise) on the Left and Right side of the Heart and adhered it in the center of the Punched Negative Scalloped Heart on my Purse.

I left the top of the Heart Die Cut free of adhesive so it doubles as a Pocket.  Now, how cool is that!!!  Even more use from your Paper Pumpkin Kit!!!  I LOVE it when that happens!!!  😊😊😊 This is also part of my Trickery!!!

Using the new Small Bloom Punch from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure, I punched out four Blooms from the Rich Razzleberry/Blackberry Bliss/Poppy Pattern in the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper.

Using my Petal Roller Tool, I gave each petall a little curl to give them some extra dimension.

I also fussy cut out the Leaf Stems.

Using the Detailed Hearts Die, I die cut three Hearts (Small, Medium and Large) from Rococo Rose Cardstock.  I adhered the three Hearts together and to the bottom of my Heart as shown in the picture above.

Now, here comes some more Trickery ...

Ha Ha He He ... Did you find the hidden Sentiment Label earlier???  I hid it behind the Flowers and inside the Heart Pocket!!!

Using the Dressed To Impress Stamp Set, I stamped the Happy Mother's Day Stamp in Black Memento Ink onto the Label.

I adhered one Flower to the end of the Label with a Mini Stampin' Dimensional.  I adhered one Flower to the end of each Handle and another Flower to the Heart as shown in the picture above.

I adhered my Leaf Stems as shown in the picture above.

And, yes!  I ended up leaving the Bow on my Purse.  I cut a length of Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding, wrapped it around one Handle and tied it into a Bow.

I inserted two Gummy Hearts inside my Purse.

Here is a Re-Cap of the other two Purses that I made ...

My Happy Valentine's Day Purse ...

… My Floral Purse that holds 3" x 3" Cards.

What a fun, fun and fun project to design!!!

Have a Blessed Day!!!
