The Sun is shining full on again today in Midland Michigan. Our high temp for today is 86F with a low of 63F for tonight. The winds are W at 5 to 10 mph.
My share for today is another Alternate Friend Card using Stampin' Up!'s July 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit called On My Mind, elements from the Woven Threads Suite and more. Let's take a look:
My Card Base is Pretty Peacock Cardstock.
Using the Layering Squares Dies, I die cut out a Scalloped Square opening centered in the Front of my Card Base.
Using the Sliding Door Die, I die cut out some of the Sliding Door Rails from the Sahara Sand Card Base in the On My Mind Paper Pumpkin Kit and some of the patterns from the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper.
I wove the Door Rails into a square that was big enough to fit in the Scalloped Square opening in my Card Base and then taped down the back of the square to hold the strips together.
I adhered the Woven Square to the back of the Front of my Card Base with tape. I then trimmed out a panel of Pretty Peacock Cardstock and adhered it to the back of the Front of my Card Base to cover up the back side of the Woven Square.
Using the On My Mind Stamp Set, I stamped Hello Friend onto one of the Gold Lined Labels.
I trimmed out a small panel of the Terracotta Tile Pattern from the Woven Threads DSP and adhered my Label to the small Terracotta panel.
I adhered two of the Leaf Stems and one Berry Sprig to my Card as shown in the picture above. (I used the reverse side of the Stems and Sprig so the White would show instead of the Greens.)
I adhered my Label over the Stems and Sprig.
I adhered one of the Flowers from the Magnolia Lane Cork Embellishments as shown in the picture above.
I cut a length of the Rose Metallic Thread and strung some of the Sequins from the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment onto the Thread. I then tied the Thread into a Bow and adhered it to the center of the Magnolia Lane Flower Cork Embellishment.
Even tho' it took me a while to Weave the strips together, I think it was quite worth the effort. And, I'm trying to come up with some different idea's for my Cards.

Cling Stamps
Stampin' Up!'s red rubber stamps are now better then ever!
Cling stamps were first introduced in Japan beginning with their 2018-2019 annual catalog. The new stamp line has been a smashing success. We are excited to offer cling stamps in all other markets beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure. During the transition, be sure to view product details carefully both in publications (each stamp type is identified with an icon) and when placing orders to note the stamp medium.
- Beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure, all new stamp sets will be available either in cling (for red rubber stamps) or photopolymer.
- Stamps in the 2018-2019 annual catalog will continue to be available in clear-mount, wood-mount, or photopolymer.
- Red rubber stamp sets (clear-mount or wood-mount) in the annual catalog that will be carrying over will transition to cling with the 2019-2020 annual catalog. Watch for more information about carryover stamp sets in April 2019 with the regularly scheduled communication about catalog transitions, the carryover list, and the retiring products list.
- In 2019-2020 annual catalog, clear-mount and wood-mount stamps* will no longer be available. The only exception is background stamps in North America only, which will still be available in wood-mount.
- *Wood-mount stamp set sales have been steadily declining for several years. Stampin’ Up! research and sales teams took this and several other factors into consideration before discontinuing wood-mount stamps. We are confident the transition to cling stamps will be beneficial in many ways for demonstrators, customers, and the company.

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
