Dino Days, Dino, Dinoroar, Tropical, Detailed Peacock, Friendly Silhouettes, Layering Ovals - Rawrsome Card

It's mostly overcast today with a peek of the Sun now and again.  We had some sprinkles this morning and have a slight chance of a rain shower throughout the day.  Our high for today is 73F with a low of 58F for tonight.  The winds are NE at 5 to 10 mph.

My share for today is a Dinosaur RAWRsome Card that I designed using Stampin' Up!'s new Dino Days Stamp Set, Dino Dies, Dinoroar Designer Series Paper and more.  Let's take a look:

Stampin' Up!'s new Dino Days Stamp Set, Dino Dies and  Dinoroar Designer Series Paper is perfect for making Card Scenes ... and ... you all know how I LOVE to create scenes.

My Card Base is Mango Melody.

My Card Front Panel is the Dinosaur Foot Print Pattern from the Dinoroar Designer Series Paper.

Using the Layering Ovals Dies, I die cut the Largest Oval from the Foot Print pattern and put it in my tray for future use.  I also die cut the same Oval from Pool Party Cardstock.

I adhered the negative Foot Print Pattern with Stampin' Dimensionals and adhered the Pool Party Oval behind it.

Using the new Friendly Silhouettes Dies, I die cut out the end of the Palm Tree Die from the Pretty Peacock/Pool Party Leaf Pattern for my Grounding.  (A strip that looks like it has a couple waves in it for the Ground).  I adhered the strip to the inside bottom of the Oval.

Using the Detailed Peacock Dies, I die cut out a bunch of the Leaves (Feathers for the Peacock) from the same DSP and adhered them to the Ground for some Foliage.

I fussy cut out the Tera-dactyl, Volcano, Dinosaur, Clouds and Palm Trees from the Dinoroar DSP.

I adhered the Volcano behind the Ground and Foliage.

I adhered the base of my Palm Trees with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and the tops of the Palm Trees with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.  I overlapped the tops of the Palm Trees and let them hang outside of the Oval.

I adhered the Dinosaur to the top of the Ground behind the Foliage.

I adhered the 2 Clouds and the Tera-dactyl as shown in the picture above.

Using the Dino Days Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Old Olive Ink onto Old Olive Cardstock, die cut it out with the Leaf Die from the Tropical Dies and adhered it to the bottom left corner of my Card.

I adhered one Pretty Peacock Leaf Stem from the new Dinoroar Enamel Shapes and 3 of the Dinosaur Bumps in Lovely Lipstick to my Old Olive Leaf as shown in the picture above.

Have a RAWRsome Day!!!

Cling Stamps

11.01.18_HEADER_CLING_NA

Stampin' Up!'s red rubber stamps are now better then ever!

Cling stamps were first introduced in Japan beginning with their 2018-2019 annual catalog. The new stamp line has been a smashing success. We are excited to offer cling stamps in all other markets beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure. During the transition, be sure to view product details carefully both in publications (each stamp type is identified with an icon) and when placing orders to note the stamp medium.

  • Beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure, all new stamp sets will be available either in cling (for red rubber stamps) or photopolymer.
  • Stamps in the 2018-2019 annual catalog will continue to be available in clear-mount, wood-mount, or photopolymer.
  • Red rubber stamp sets (clear-mount or wood-mount) in the annual catalog that will be carrying over will transition to cling with the 2019-2020 annual catalog. Watch for more information about carryover stamp sets in April 2019 with the regularly scheduled communication about catalog transitions, the carryover list, and the retiring products list.

  • In 2019-2020 annual catalog, clear-mount and wood-mount stamps* will no longer be available. The only exception is background stamps in North America only, which will still be available in wood-mount.
    • *Wood-mount stamp set sales have been steadily declining for several years. Stampin’ Up! research and sales teams took this and several other factors into consideration before discontinuing wood-mount stamps. We are confident the transition to cling stamps will be beneficial in many ways for demonstrators, customers, and the company.
