Poppin' Birthday Paper Pumpkin, Best Bunny, Detailed Floral - Pull Tab Slider Bunny Card - Alternate Birthday Card - VII

It's partly cloudy and very windy today.  The winds are SW at 20 to 30 mph with higher wind gusts possible.  The high temp is 58F and 38F for a low tonight.

My share for today is an Alternate Birthday Card that I made using some contents from Stampin' Up!'s Poppin' Birthday Paper Pumpkin Kit and some items from my personal stash.  Let's take a look:

Look carefully ... there's something hiding in the mix of Spring Flowers for today's Card.  And ... what a fun, interactive Card this is!!!

My Card Base is Flirty Flamingo Cardstock cut at 2-3/4" x 8-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4" for a side folding Card.

My Card Front Panel is also Flirty Flamingo cut at 2-3/4" x 4-1/4".

I cut my channel for the Pull Tab Slider in my Card Front, made my Pull Tab Slider and adhered the Card Front and the Pull Tab Slider to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals and Strips. (I've made many Pull Tab Sliders so it is easy for me to make.  You can go on-line and search for How to Make Pull Tab Slider Cards.  There are tons of video's out there.)

I folded one of the White Labels in the Poppin' Birthday Paper Pumpkin Kit in half, did my stamping and adhered it to the top of my Card.  I used the Confetti stamp from the Kit for the Label and the Surprise Stamp from Best Bunny Stamp Set.)

I adhered some negative leftover pieces from the Numbers Die Cut Sheet in the Kit to the outside of my Label for more Confetti.

Using the Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies, I die cut the long, skinny Floral Die twice from Old Olive Cardstock for my Hills and adhered them to the bottom of my Card as shown in the picture above.

Using the Itty Bitty Blooms Punch Pack, I punched out my Flowers from Card Bases, Card Base Inserts and Envelopes in the Kit and Flower Centers and Leaves from Old Olive Cardstock.   I hand cut the Flower Stems from Old Olive Cardstock.  I assembled all the Flowers and adhered them to my Card as shown in the picture above.

When you pull the Bow Pull Tab up ... Surprise ... up hops the cute little Bunny with his Birthday Party Hat on from the middle of the Flowers!!!

I used the Bunny Builder Punch and punched the Bunny out from one of the Envelopes in the Kit.  I used the Best Bunny Stamp Set to stamp the Bunny's Face.

Just Stinkin' Cute!!!  I will probably wear it out by the end of this week!  I can't stop playing with the Pull Tab!!!

The Bunny's Hat and the Pull Tab Bow are die cuts from the Kit.

Using the Poppin' Birthday Stamp Set, I stamped Happy Birthday onto a punched Starburst and adhered it to the inside of my Card.  I also adhered another Birthday Hat from the Kit.

I can't stop playing with the items from the Poppin' Birthday Paper Pumpkin Kit either!  Such a fun, fun Kit.

Ee-Ba-De-Ba-De, That's all folks!!!

Have a great day!!!

Cling Stamps

11.01.18_HEADER_CLING_NA

Stampin' Up!'s red rubber stamps are now better then ever!

Cling stamps were first introduced in Japan beginning with their 2018-2019 annual catalog. The new stamp line has been a smashing success. We are excited to offer cling stamps in all other markets beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure. During the transition, be sure to view product details carefully both in publications (each stamp type is identified with an icon) and when placing orders to note the stamp medium.

  • Beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure, all new stamp sets will be available either in cling (for red rubber stamps) or photopolymer.
  • Stamps in the 2018-2019 annual catalog will continue to be available in clear-mount, wood-mount, or photopolymer.
  • Red rubber stamp sets (clear-mount or wood-mount) in the annual catalog that will be carrying over will transition to cling with the 2019-2020 annual catalog. Watch for more information about carryover stamp sets in April 2019 with the regularly scheduled communication about catalog transitions, the carryover list, and the retiring products list.

  • In 2019-2020 annual catalog, clear-mount and wood-mount stamps* will no longer be available. The only exception is background stamps in North America only, which will still be available in wood-mount.
    • *Wood-mount stamp set sales have been steadily declining for several years. Stampin’ Up! research and sales teams took this and several other factors into consideration before discontinuing wood-mount stamps. We are confident the transition to cling stamps will be beneficial in many ways for demonstrators, customers, and the company.
