Stampin' Up Serene Scenery, Sweet & Sassy Heart, Sealed with Love, Love Notes, Hello You, Sunshine Wishes II

We got another dusting of snow last night.  We hardly have any snow; but, underneath what snow we have, is a lot of ice.  It's supposed to be in the 40's this weekend so I can see our road getting bad again.  At least the sun is shining today!

My share for today is a version of yesterday's Heart Card only I used the positive scoring side on the Heart.  The Stampin' Up products that I used are Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Pack, Sealed with Love Stamp Set, Love Notes and Sweet & Sassy Hearts Framelits Dies, Hello You and Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies, Sending Love Embellishments and Cupcakes & Carousels Embellishment Kit.

Let's take a look:

My Card Base is Blushing Bride Cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4".

My Card Front Panel is a piece from SU's Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Pack cut at 3-3/4" x 5" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

On yesterday's blog post Heart Card, I used the negative scoring on my Heart.  Today, I'm showing you the positive scoring on my Heart.

Using SU's Sweet & Sassy Hearts Framelits Dies, I die cut the Largest Heart from Whisper White Cardstock.

Using SU's Stampin' Trimmer, I scored my Heart using the large end of my Score Tool as shown in the picture above.  I started by scoring the Heart in quadrants (one score straight up and down and one score straight across) and then scoring in-between the quadrants to make all the score lines equally spaced.  Hope that makes sense.

I then took my Blushing Bride Ink Pad and brushed it across and up and down and kitty corner over the Heart until it was colored all over the Heart the way I wanted it.  It turned out really nice except for my fingernail impression at the tip of the Heart.  Oopsy!!!  Something to be aware of.  =(

Isn't that cool though how the scoring turned out!!!  Very, very Happy with the outcome!  =)

I die cut another small heart from Blushing Bride Cardstock and adhered it to the Center Point of the Score Lines with a Stampin' Dimensional.

Using SU's Sealed with Love Stamp Set, I stamped the Flowery Heart in Soft Sky Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock, die cut it out and adhered it to Blushing Bride Heart with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered one of the Wood Heart Elements from Sending Love Embellishments to the Flowery Heart with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered one of SU's Gold Metallic Enamel Heart Shapes to the Wood Heart.

Using SU's Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies, I die cut the Love Die 5 times from Soft Sky Cardstock, adhered them all together with SU's Fine Tip Glue Bottle and to my Heart with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered some Sequins from SU's Cupcakes & Carousels Embellishment Kit randomly to the Heart.

For the inside of my Card:
I adhered one of the Labels from SU's Cupcakes & Carousels Embellishment Kit to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies, I die cut out the Heart die from Soft Sky Cardstock.  I adhered just the Center Heart die cut to the Label with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  I'm saving the Outside of the Heart die cut for another project.

Using SU's Hello You Thinlits Dies, I die cut the You Die from a Gold Foil Sheet and adhered it to the Soft Sky Heart with SU's Fine Tip Glue Bottle.

I'm very happy with how this technique turned out!!!

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  1. Oh, wow, that's really striking, Lynn! That heart sure catches your eye with the scoring and then inking! I love the embellishments you added to it too. Really great job, Lynn! Thanks for sharing.
