Stampin' Up Bella & Friends Beautiful Thoughtful Branches Over the Rainbow

Another sweltering day of heat and humidity.  Phew...it's going to be in the 90's today and through the weekend.  I finally turned the air on to run full time!

My share for today is a card I made using Stampin' Up's new Bella & Friends, Over the Rainbow and Thoughtful Branches Stamp Sets and Beautiful Branches Thinlits Dies.

You can purchase Thoughtful Branches Stamp Set and Beautiful Branches Thinlits Dies starting August 2 through August 31st while supplies last.

Let's take a look at my card:

Aren't these two little guys just the sweetest or what!!!  And, who wouldn't want to take a bite of those delicious, red apples.  YUMMY!

One of SU's Demonstrators, Angie Juda, got to design this stamp set when she had reached a Million Dollars in Sales.  Wowzers...that is a feat and a half!  Congrats to Angie!!!  I adore Angie and her blog at Chic n Scratch.

My card base is Stampin' Up Very Vanilla Cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored and folded at 4-1/4".

Using SU's new Thoughtful Branches Stamp Set, I stamped the grass and the tree top on Very Vanilla Cardstock in  SU Garden Green Ink.

I die cut the tree top out using SU's new Beautiful Branches Thinlits Dies.

I also die cut the tree trunk with the tree branches out of SU Early Espresso Cardstock.

I adhered the tree trunk with the branches to my card base using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue and the tree top using small pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.

I stamped the apples in SU Real Red Ink on to Very Vanilla Cardstock, die cut them out and adhered them to my tree using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Over the Rainbow Stamp Set, I stamped the sun in SU So Saffron Ink.

I stamped Bella and her friend the turtle in SU Basic Black Archival Ink on to SU Shimmery White Cardstock, colored them in, fussy cut them out and adhered them to my card base with Mono-Multi Purpose Glue.

I used Stampin' Write Markers in  Always Artichoke, Pear Pizzazz and So Saffron for the turtle.

I used Stampin' Write Markers in Sahara Sand, Real Red and Basic Black for Bella.

These guys are just too adorable!  I have such a passion for 'critter' stamps!  =)

For the inside of my card, I inked up the tree top stamp in Garden Green Ink, stamped it off onto another piece of cardstock for use later and then stamped it again without re-inking on the inside of my card.

I stamped the sentiment from Bella & Friends Stamp Set in Basic Black Archival Ink.

I adhered two more apples around the sentiment using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I'm so happy with the way my card turned out.  It just makes me smile!

That's all I have for today!  Thanks for stopping by my blog!  Have a great day!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!

If you are interested in purchasing Stampin' Up products, you can order from me on-line at www.stampinup.com and please choose me, Lynn Gauthier, as your Demonstrator.
