Stampin' Up Sneak Peek 2016-2017 Catalog Love & Affection Pop of Paradise Cards, Tags, Card Box I

Another beautiful day in Michigan.  Not a cloud in the sky and it's supposed to be in the 80's most of the week with some pop up showers here and there through Sunday. You walk outside and the smell is so awesome with all the lilac's, azalea and crab apple tree's in full bloom.  I think we've gone right from Spring to Summer and I'll take it!

I'll be sharing some really cool cards and tags that I designed this week and a card box that I found a video for on Friday!  I so LOVE how it all came together and the colors are fabulous!

Let's take a look at my first card:

The first card that I'm sharing with you today is a 3" x 3" card cut at 3" x 6" and scored and folded at 3".  I made it using one of the new Stampin' Up 2016-2018 In-Colors called Sweet Sugarplum.

I stamped the heart from SU's new stamp set called Pop of Paradise in another new In-Color called Flirty Flamingo on SU's Very Vanilla cardstock.  I adhered the heart to my card using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

The leaf was stamped in SU's Cucumber Crush on Whisper White cardstock and adhered with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I also stamped the leaf on the envelope.

I stamped the small flower from SU's new Love & Affection Stamp Set in Flirty Flamingo Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock.  The center of the flower was stamped in SU's Chocolate Chip Ink.  I went around the edges of the flower petals with my petal roller tool to give the flower some dimension.  I then colored in the center with SU's Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Marker, added Crystal Effects and when it was dry, I went around the center and the veins with my Wink of Stella Brush.

I randomly added 3 small Basic Jewel Rhinestones to the card front.

For the inside of my card, I die-cut a medium sized heart using SU's new Sweet & Sassy Framelits dies and adhered it with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I added a piece of SU's New Affectionately Yours Designer Washi Tape in Cucumber Crush.  You can see the Sweet Sugarplum color come through the white flowers in the tape and it gives it some added color.

Here's a Lynn Sneak Peek of the pocket in the card box that the 3" x 3" cards fit into and I'll be sharing the entire card box with you on Friday.

I'm so happy with the way my entire project turned out.  I hope you can come back all this week to see the rest of my project.

That's all I have for today!  Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great day!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
