Stampin' Up Pocket Card with Snowman Tag/Ornament

Hi All!  I had a week off; but, I personally didn't get much accomplished as I wasn't feeling my best.

Our Brother-In-Law, who lost his wife earlier this year, was here for the week.  It was nice to have him here and we are proud of him for handling Laurie's death so well.  We were quite worried for him.

Anyways, he helped my Husband move the furniture back in the rooms upstairs that we re-modeled.  They also took off all the doors and cut them down so they can close now since the carpet was installed.  Now, we get to start all over on the BIG room across the front of the house.  Oh Boy!!!

In October this year, I was honored to be asked by my very dear Friend and fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator, Kadie, to participate in a Snowman Card Swap for Kadie's Saddle-Up Event.  Gosh, that was so much fun and I received so many awesome snowman cards in return for the card I will be showing you today.  Kadie and Kadie's group has some mad, artistic talent and I LOVE all the cards I received.  I just LOVE my SnowMen!!!  Below is a picture of the card that I made for Kadie's Saddle-Up Event - Snowman Card Swap:

I made a Pocket Card with a Note Card Insert and a Snowman Tag/Ornament.  There's a mixture of Retired and New Stampin' Up products that I used.

The Designer Series Paper is retired.

The Jolly sentiment is from SU's new Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies in the SU Holiday Catalog.

I used SU's new Snow Flurry Punch to punch the 2 snowflakes and put a SU Cherry Cobbler Candy Dot in the center.

Above is a picture of the Note Card Insert.  For the sentiment, I used Stampin' Up's Host set called Antique Tags.

I used SU's new Curvy Corner Trio Punch and punched the corners of the DSP Note Card Insert.

Then I added a small piece of SU Whisper White Card Stock to the insert so you can write a note to the recipient.

Above is a picture of the Snowman Tag/Ornament.   The SU Snowman Stamp Set called Cold Play is Retired and I will never part with this set.  It's just too cute to part with!

I used various sizes of SU Circle and Scalloped Circle punchs and SU Whisper White Card Stock to build my Snowman.  Then, I ran the 2 Scalloped Circles through the Big Shot in a SU Retired Embossing Folder called Northern Flurry.

I designed the hat on the SU Envelope Punch Board and wrapped some SU Gold 1/8" ribbon around the hat and tied it off.

The Snowman's arms were punched using SU's new Tree Builder Punch.  Clever huh!  =)

Three gold hearts from SU's Metallic Sequins Assortment were adhered to the front of the Snowman with SU's new Fine Tip Glue Bottle.

I used SU's Handheld Hole Punch and punched a hole in the Snowman's hat.  I tied on some new SU Gold Cording for the hanger.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  Hope you enjoyed my card!
