My share for today is another card that I designed using Stampin' Up's new Cookie Cutter Halloween, Jar of Haunts, Halloween Treat and Mr Funny Bones Stamp Sets and Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Let's take a look:
My card base is Basic Black Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2".
My card front panel is a piece from Stampin' Up's new Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper cut at 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" and adhered to my card base with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
Using SU's Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, I die cut two Ovals; one in Elegant Eggplant and one in Pumpkin Pie Cardstocks. I adhered the Pumpkin Pie Oval to my card front panel using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue and the Elegant Eggplant Oval with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using SU's new Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set, I stamped the Scarecrow in Basic Black Archival Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock. I colored him in using Stampin' Write Markers in Sahara Sand, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Pink Pirouette.
I punched the Scarecrow out using SU's New Cookie Cutter Builder Punch and adhered him to the Elegant Eggplant Oval using Stampin' Dimensionals.
I stamped the Candy Bag from Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set in Basic Black Archival Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock, colored it with Stampin' Write Markers in Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Perfect Plum and adhered it to the Scarecrows hand using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I stamped the Crow from SU's Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set with Basic Black Archival Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. I fussy cut him out and colored his beak and eye with Stampin' Write Markers in Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight and adhered him to the Scarecrows head using small pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using SU's new Jar of Haunts Stamp Set, I colored the Leaves with the Pumpkin Stem 7 times onto Shimmery White Cardstock by coloring the outside edge and the vein of the leaf portion of the stamp only with Stampin' Write Markers in Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Always Artichoke and Pumpkin Pie. Once they were colored, I huffed on the stamp to rejuvenate the ink and stamped them onto the cardstock. I finished coloring in the centers of the leaves, fussy cut them out and adhered them to the Oval using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I tied a bow with SU's new Halloween Night Orange and Black Baker's Twine and adhered it to the center of the leaves using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I adhered one of SU's New Halloween Night Enamel Dots in Pumpkin Pie to the center of my bow.
I trimmed out a piece of Pumpkin Pie Cardstock at 3" x 2" and adhered it to the inside of my card using 2 pieces SU's new Halloween Night Designer Washi Tape.
Using SU's new Halloween Treat Stamp Set, I masked off the bottom portion of the stamp and colored the Happy Halloween and the Spiders with Stampin' Write Markers in Elegant Eggplant and Basic Black. I huffed on the stamp to rejuvenate the ink and stamped it on a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock. I fussy cut it out and adhered it to the inside of my card using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
Using SU's new Mr. Funny Bones Stamp Set, I stamped the Boo Banner in Black Memento Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock, fussy cut it out and adhered it to the top of my card using a Stampin' Dimensional.
Lastly, I added 3 black star sequins from SU's Metallic Sequin Assortment using my Fine Tip Glue Bottle.
That's all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!

DARLING Card Lynn. I could just SQUEEZE this little fellow....but afraid the crow would pop off the top of his hat. THANKS for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHow cute, Lynn! I love that scarecrow. He looks particularly cute on the plaid DSP. The bouquet of leaves is the perfect finishing touch!
