My share for today is a card that I designed using Stampin' Up's new Christmas Pines Stamp Set, Christmas Stockings Thinlits and Lots of Labels Framelits Dies and This Christmas Designer Series Paper.
Let's take a look:
I am so in Love with and addicted to making this Christmas Stockings and embellishing them!!! They are so much fun to make and in many, many different color combinations.
My card base is a piece from This Christmas Designer Series Paper cut at 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4".
I decided not to use a card front panel and just go with the one piece of This Christmas DSP as it is just too pretty to cover up!
Using
SU's new Christmas Pines Stamp Set, I stamped the Pine Bough three times onto
Garden Green Card Stock with Garden Green Ink. I fussy cut them out and
adhered them to my card base (leaving a couple extra for the inside of my card) with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
Using SU's new Christmas Stockings Thinlits Dies, I die cut out the following:
Stocking #1:
Stocking Solid Image, top Cuff, Heel and Toe - Dapper Denim Cardstock
Stocking Detailed Image and Hanger - Garden Green Cardstock
Bow and Holly Berries - Real Red Cardstock
Stocking Trim and Holly Leaves - Delightful Dijon Cardstock
Stocking #2
Stocking Solid Image - Always Artichoke Cardstock
Stocking Detailed Image, Bow and Hanger - Dapper Denim Cardstock
Stocking Snowflake, Cuff, Heel and Toe - Delightful Dijon Cardstock
I assembled my Stockings using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
The Snowflake was adhered to one of the Stockings with a small piece of Stampin' Dimensionals.
I added Wink of Stella and some highlight lines with my Signo White Gel Pen to the Holly Berries.
The Stockings were hung on one of the Pine Needles on the Pine Bough and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Here's a close-up of Stocking #1...there are so many different color combinations that you can use that it's hard to choose which colors so you make many of them. =)
Here's a close-up of Stocking #2...I adhered the Bow up by the Stocking Hanger and the Bow looks like it has three loops now.
Here's a close-up of the Pine Bough...I used SU's new Gold Baker's Twine to tie my double Bow with 2 of SU's new Mini Jingle Bells. The Baker's Twine comes in a Trio Pack of colors; Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Gold. You get 60 Mini Jingle Bells and there are 30 Silver and 30 Red Bells. The Baker's Twine and the Mini Jingle Bells are a couple of my FAVE's from SU's new 2016-2017 Holiday Catalog.
For the inside of my card; Using SU's Lots of Labels Framelits Dies, I die cut 2 labels; one in Garden Green and one in Very Vanilla.
I stamped the sentiment on the Very Vanilla Label with Real Red Ink, adhered it to the Garden Green Label and then to the inside of my card using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I adhered the 2 extra Pine pieces and another die cut Bow to the label with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
And, of course, I adhered a Garden Green Enamel Dot to Stocking #1 and 2 Always Artichoke Enamel Dots to Stocking #2.
I absolutely LOVE how this card turned out!!!
O.K. I'm off to make more Stockings!!!! =)
That's all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I
recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects,
duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes. My cards and
projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or
sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my
creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions
cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
