Stampin' Up Christmas Stockings, Hang Your Stocking, Pretty Pines, Lots of Lables, Presents & Pinecones

There's still a lot of new items in the Clearance Rack!!!

Check out the new Special Offers also.  There are 6 new items at 25% off.  I highly recommend the Hello Lovely Project Life Card Collection and Accessory Pack.  They are absolutely Gorgeous!!!

My share for today is a card that I designed using Stampin' Up's new Hang Your Stocking Stamp Set, Christmas Stockings and Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies and Lots of Lables Framelits Dies and Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper.

Let's take a look:

I am so in Love with and addicted to making this Christmas Stockings and embellishing them!!!  They are so much fun to make and in many, many different color combinations.

My card base is a piece from Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper cut at 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4".

And, again today, I decided not to use a card front panel and just go with the one piece of Presents & Pinecones DSP as it is just too pretty to cover up!

Using SU's new Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies, I die cut 2 of the longest and 3 of the medium and 3 of the shortest Pine Stems from Old Olive Cardstock.  I adhered two of each to my card base (leaving one medium and one short pine stem for the inside of my card) with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

Using SU's new Christmas Stockings Thinlits Dies, I die cut out the following:
Stocking #1:
Stocking Solid Image and Hanger - Garden Green
Stocking Detailed Image  - Delightful Dijon Cardstock
Stocking Bow, top Cuff, Heel and Toe - Cherry Cobbler Cardstock

Stocking #2
Stocking Solid Image, top Cuff, Heel and Toe - Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
Stocking Detailed Image and Hanger - Delight Dijon Cardstock
Stocking Trim and Tree - Always Artichoke Cardstock

I assembled my Stockings using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

The Stockings were hung on one of the Pine Needles on the Pine Bough and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Here's a close-up of Stocking #1...there are so many different color combinations that you can use that it's hard to choose which colors so you make many of them.  =)

Here's a close-up of Stocking #2...Isn't the DSP behind the Stocking pretty!!!!

Here's a close-up of the Pine Bough...I used SU's new Gold Baker's Twine to tie my double Bow with 2 of SU's new Mini Pinecones.  The Baker's Twine comes in a Trio Pack of colors; Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Gold.  The Mini Pinecones have a antiqued copper finish and you get 24 in a pack.  The Baker's Twine and the Mini Jingle Bells and the Antiqued Copper Finish Pinecones are a few of my FAVE's from SU's new 2016-2017 Holiday Catalog.

For the inside of my card; Using SU's Lots of Labels Framelits Dies, I die cut 2 labels; one in Garden Green and one in Whisper White

I stamped the sentiment from SU's new Hang Your Stocking Stamp Set on the Whisper White Label with Cherry Cobbler Ink, adhered it to the Garden Green Label and then to the inside of my card using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I adhered the 2 extra Pine pieces and a die cut Bow from Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock to the label with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

And, of course, I adhered 4 Silver Enamel Dots to Stocking #1 and a Cherry Cobbler Enamel Heart Shape to Stocking #2.

I absolutely LOVE how this card turned out also!!!

O.K.  I'm off to make more Stockings!!!!   AGAIN    =)

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
