Hope you are all having a great Labor Day weekend!!!
My share today is a Halloween card that I designed using Stampin' Up's new Cookie Cutter Halloween, Halloween Scares, Sweet Home and Suite Seasons Stamp Sets, Home Sweet Home Thinlits Dies and Layering Squares and Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, Halloween Night Designer Series Paper and Best Badge and Cookie Cutter Builder Punches.
Let's take a look:
My card base is Pumpkin Pie Cardstock cut at 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4".
My card front panel is a piece of SU's new Halloween Night Designer Series Paper cut at 3-1/2" x 4-1/2". Using SU's Best Badge Punch, I created a scalloped edge on each end and adhered it to my card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using SU's Layering Squares Framelits, I die cut a straight edge square from Elegant Eggplant and a scalloped edge square from Old Olive Cardstock. I adhered the Elegant Eggplant square with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue and the Old Olive square with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using SU's Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set, I stamped the Mummy onto Shimmery White Cardstock in Crumb Cake Ink and used my Blender Pen and Crumb Cake Ink to move the ink around for the Mummies bandages. I punched the Mummy out with SU's new Cookie Cutter Builder Punch and adhered the Mummy using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I then stamped the Bow onto Shimmery White Cardstock in Wisteria Wonder Ink, punched it out using the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch and adhered it to the Mummy using a small piece of Stampin' Dimensional.
Using SU's Halloween Scares Stamp Set, I stamped the Cat onto Whisper White Cardstock in Black Archival Ink, fussy cut it out and adhered it with a small piece of Stampin' Dimensional.
I then colored the Pumpkin stamp with Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers, huffed on the stamp to rejuvenate the ink and stamped it onto Whisper White Cardstock. I fussy cut it out and tucked it under the cat with a small piece of Stampin' Dimensional.
Using SU's new Sweet Home Stamp Set, I stamped the two Ghosts in Memento Black Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock and die cut them out with SU's new Home Sweet Home Thinlits Dies. I tucked the two Ghosts under the Old Olive Square using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
Using SU's Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, I die cut an Oval from Smokey Slate Cardstock.
Using SU's new Halloween Scares Stamp Set, I inked up my stamp with Basic Black Archival Ink, stamped it off once and then stamped it onto the oval without re-inking.
Using SU's new Suite Seasons Stamp Set, I stamped my sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink and adhered the Oval to the inside of my card using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I took a scrap piece of Halloween Night DSP, scalloped one edge with the Best Badge Punch and adhered it above the Oval using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
And, of course, I had to add four of my FAVE Enamel Dots in Pumpkin Pie to the four corners of my Old Olive Square.
That's all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I
recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects,
duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes. My cards and
projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or
sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my
creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions
cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
