Stampin' Up Christmas Treat/Product Holder Gift Bag, Stitched with Cheer, Hang Your Stocking, Oh What Fun, Warmth & Cheer DSP, Layering Circles

Gorgeous, gorgeous and gorgeous day out today.  The sun is full on and our temperatures have cooled down now.

My share for today is some more of Stampin' Up's new 3" x 6" Gusseted Cellophane Bags that I made into treat or product gift bags for Christmas using SU's new Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack, Stitched with Cheer, Hang Your Stocking and Oh What Fun Stamp Sets and Layering Circles Framelits Dies.

Let's take a look:

I put a Miniature Hershey Candy Bar in-between the 2 pieces of DSP; but, you could put Ghirardelli's or some Tootsie Rolls and even some Stampin' Up product in them.  Hmmmm...some Stampin' Up Enamel Shapes or Dots...My FAVE!

Another idea I thought of afterwards is to leave the top piece of DSP out of the bag so your candy, product or whatever you use can be seen through the cellophane bag.

For this treat holder, I cut two pieces of the trees from the Warmth & Cheer DSP at 2-3/4" x 4" and inserted them into the folds (one in the front and one in the back) in the 3" x 6" Cellophane Gusseted Bag.

Using SU's Layering Circles Framelits, I die cut three circles; one from SU's Red Glimmer Paper, one from Garden Green and one from Whisper White Cardstocks.

I adhered the Garden Green circle to the Glimmer Paper using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

Using SU's new Stitched with Cheer Stamp Set, I stamped the sentiment on the Whisper White Circle with Real Red Ink.  I sponged some Basic Black Archival Ink around the edges with a Sponge Dauber and adhered it to the Garden Green Circle with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered two Garden Green Enamel Dots by the sentiment.

I folded the Bag down 3 times at the top and closed it with one of SU's new Gold Binder Clips.

Using my 1/16" Handheld Punch, I punched 2 holes in the top of the Glimmer Paper Circle.  Using SU's new Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine in Red, I threaded the twine through one of the holes in the Glimmer Paper and around the front long leg of the Binder Clip and back through the other hole in the Glimmer Paper and tied the twine into a bow.

For this treat holder, I used the snowflake piece from Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper.

I die cut a circle from Garden Green Cardstock, Red Glimmer Paper and Whisper White Cardstock.

I stamped my sentiment from SU's new Hang Your Stocking Stamp Set in Garden Green Ink on the White Cardstock Circle and sponged around the edges with Basic Black Archival Ink.

I adhered two of SU's Basic Jewel Rhinestones next to the sentiment.

This time, I used SU's new Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine in Whisper White with Red Metallic Thread woven through it.  You can see how it shines at the top in my picture where the light hits it.  So pretty in real life!  LOVE this Baker's Twine!!!

For this treat holder, I used the Christmas bulb piece from Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper.

I die cut a circle from Black Glimmer Paper, Real Red and Whisper White Cardstock.

I stamped my sentiment from SU's Oh What Fun Stamp Set in Basic Black Archival Ink on the White Cardstock Circle and sponged around the edges with Garden Green Ink.

I adhered two of SU's Real Red Enamel Dots next to the sentiment.

This time, I used the gold Baker's Twine from SU's new Trio Pack of Baker's Twine.  You get Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Gold Baker's Twine in the Trio Pack. Did I mention that I LOVE this Baker's Twine!!!

Lovin' how these little Treat/Product Holder Bags turned out!

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!

  1. These are just TOO stinkin' CUTE. If it weren't 90+ degrees here in Tucson.....I would kick on my fireplace and snuggle in to make some of these. THANKS for sharing my friend.
