Let's take a look:
I just LOVE how my White Gift Box turned out. It is so cute decorated with Stampin' Up's Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper and Washi Tape.
Even though I adhered DSP and Washi Tape around the box, the acetate sleeve still fit around it. Then, I loaded it up with some mini candy canes.
I cut off the two side flaps and the small flap on the top of the box.
I took a 3" x 3-1/8" piece of Real Red Cardstock and used the Best Badge Punch to make a scalloped edge on the bottom. I used my Project Life Corner Rounder Punch and rounded the top two corners and then adhered it to the back flap on the box with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I fussy cut 3 Gingerbread Men from SU's Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper and adhered them to the top of the Real Red piece with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I trimmed out a row of Gumdrops from the DSP and adhered it to the center of the Real Red piece with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
Using SU's 1/2" Circle Punch, I punched out 4 of the Peppermint Candies and adhered them just above each of the 4 scallops on the bottom of the Real Red Piece with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I wrapped the Gum Drop Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape all the way around the bottom of the box and the Peppermint Candy Washi Tape around the top of the box.
I trimmed out a piece of the DSP with the Gingerbread Houses on it to measure about 2-3/16" x 12" and wrapped it between the two Washi Tapes. The ends didn't quite meet in the back so I add about a 1/4" piece that matched up with the DSP to the back.
That's it!!! Just fill it with whatever treats you want and it makes for a perfect gift for the Host or Hostess or Family and Friends!
Please come back tomorrow when I'll share part two!
That's all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
If you are interested in purchasing Stampin' Up products, you can order from me on-line at www.stampinup.com and please choose me, Lynn Gauthier, as your Demonstrator.
This is my first blog and it is still under construction. I have yet to receive my Watermark so the picture's are copyright Lynn A. Gauthier, 2015-2016 Stampin' Up.
So cute, Lynn! I love this DSP around the outside of your box, but I really love the Gingerbread Men pop-up in the back. They are "out-standing"!
