Bad News:  I'm very, very and very sad today as my computer crashed and I'm unable to post projects to my blog.  I am able to use my Hubbies computer; but, he doesn't have the software's I need to do my blog posts with pictures.

Good News:  My Niece, Amy, and Joey and Bree will be here this Wednesday to visit us for a week.  Yay!!!

Cling Stamps

Stampin' Up!'s red rubber stamps are now better then ever!

Cling stamps were first introduced in Japan beginning with their 2018-2019 annual catalog. The new stamp line has been a smashing success. We are excited to offer cling stamps in all other markets beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure. During the transition, be sure to view product details carefully both in publications (each stamp type is identified with an icon) and when placing orders to note the stamp medium.

• Beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure, all new stamp sets will be available either in cling (for red rubber stamps) or photopolymer.
• Stamps in the 2018-2019 annual catalog will continue to be available in clear-mount, wood-mount, or photopolymer.
• Red rubber stamp sets (clear-mount or wood-mount) in the annual catalog that will be carrying over will transition to cling with the 2019-2020 annual catalog. Watch for more information about carryover stamp sets in April 2019 with the regularly scheduled communication about catalog transitions, the carryover list, and the retiring products list.

• In 2019-2020 annual catalog, clear-mount and wood-mount stamps* will no longer be available. The only exception is background stamps in North America only, which will still be available in wood-mount.
  • *Wood-mount stamp set sales have been steadily declining for several years. I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!

  

A Little Smile June 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Dino Days, Dino, Bird Ballad, Friendly Silhouettes - Alternate Card I

Happy Summer Everyone!!!

We have lots of sunshine in Michigan today to start off our first day of Summer.  Our high temp for today is 74F with a low of 52F for tonight.  The winds are NNE at 5 to 10 mph.

My share for today is an Alternate Card that I designed using Stampin' Up!'s June 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit called A Little Smile.  Let's take a look:

 
My Card Base is Crumb Cake Cardstock.

My First Card Front Panel is Coastal Cabana Cardstock.  I ran this panel through my BIG Shot with Stampin' Up!'s new High Seas Embossing Folder.  I adhered this panel to my Card Base.

My Second Card Front Panel is Crumb Cake Cardstock.  I ran this panel through my BIG Shot with Stampin' Up!'s Subtle Embossing Folder.  Using the Long Palm Tree Die from the new Friendly Silhouettes Dies, I die cut this panel with the end of the Die on an angle for my Sandy Beach.  I adhered this panel with Stampin' Dimensionals leaving space at the top to tuck in my Palm Tree Trunks.

Using the new Dino Days Stamp Set, I stamped the Palm Tree Trunks in Crumb Cake Ink onto the leftover piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock that I ran through the BIG Shot with the Subtle Embossing Folder.

Using the Palm Tree Trunk Die from Dino Dies, I die cut out the Palm Tree Trunks.  I adhered the left one to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and the right one with Stampin' Dimensionals. 

I adhered 8 of the Leaf Stems from the kit to the top of each Palm Tree Trunk; 4 of them normal size and 4 of them that I trimmed off 2 of the Leaf sections to make the Leaf Stems shorter.

I adhered 2 Shorter Leaf Stems to the top and and 2 to the bottom and 2 Longer Leaf Stems on the left and 2 on the right.

 
Using the A Little Smile Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Coastal Cabana Ink onto one of the Labels in the kit.

I adhered a whole Vellum Coral from the kit in front of the Palm Tree Bases.  I trimmed another Vellum Coral in half and adhered a half to each side of the whole Vellum Coral.

I adhered a Glitter Star Fish from the kit in front of the Palm Tree Base.

I pulled some Threads from Stampin' Up!'s new 3/8" Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon and adhered them in 3 clumps to look like Sea Grass.  I LOVE how this Ribbon worked for the Sea Grass.  It even has a shine to it!!!

I adhered another Vellum Coral and a Sand Dollar as shown in the picture above.

I then adhered my Sentiment Label.

I fussy cut out one of the Birds from Stampin' Up!'s new Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper and adhered it to my Card as shown in the picture above.

I cut a length of the Linen Thread from the kit, tied it into a Bow and adhered it to the left corner of my Sentiment Label.

Now, I'm having another Dreamy Day of being on a Beach!!!
