My share for today is an Alternate Birthday Card that I designed using some of the contents from Stampin' Up!'s March 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Poppin' Birthday and some items from my personal stash. Let's take a look:
What a fun Poppin' Birthday Paper Pumpkin Kit!!! Even the name Poppin' Birthday is fun!!! I just LOVE the Pop Out Cake and Presents!
Look at all the Goodies you get with the Kit...And...Since Paper Pumpkin turned 6, they threw in another stamp set (not shown) with polka dot numbers 0 thru 9, st-nd-rd-th, a pound sign and a polka dot Balloon stamp. Sa Wheet!!!
How's this for some Poppin' Colors and Poppin' Layering for a Poppin' Birthday Card!!!
My Card Base is Poppy Parade Cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4".
The layers are Poppy Parade, Basic Black and Bermuda Bay Cardstocks.
I stamped the Confetti Stamp on the right side of the First Bermuda Bay Layer with Bermuda Bay Ink.
Stampin' Up's Balloon Bouquet Punch coordinates with the Balloon Stamp in the Poppin' Birthday Paper Pumpkin Kit. So, instead of stamping the Balloons I thought I would punch the Balloons out from the Brights 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper in Poppy Parade and Bermuda Bay. It makes the Kits even more fun when you can coordinate the Kits contents with products from other Stampin' Up! catalogs.
I adhered the Daffodil Delight Scalloped Pennant onto my Card Front.
I cut lengths of Whisper White Baker's Twine and adhered them to my Balloons and then I adhered them to the Pennant.
I stamped my Sentiment onto the Flagged Ends Label from the Kit in Poppy Parade Ink.
I trimmed down the Poppy Parade/Flirty Flamingo striped Label from the Kit and then adhered my Flagged Label as shown in the picture above. I then adhered the Label to my Card.
And ... Yay! I got my Labels straight today!!!

- The Craft & Carry Tote (item number: 149696, $50 USD/$68 CAD) is available for preorder at 12:01 AM (MT), November 12, 2018, to January 2, 2019, at 11:50 PM (MT). Once Sale-A-Bration begins on January 3, 2019, the bag will be part of the “Join” offering during Sale-A-Bration promotion.
- Items must be placed on a demonstrator order. It may also be added to a Starter Kit at full price during the preorder period.

The sales periods for Customers for the 2019 occasions catalog and the Sale-A-Bration brochure begin at 3:00 AM (MT). Sale-A-Bration runs through March 31, 2019; the occasions catalog runs through June 3, 2019.
Cling Stamps
Stampin' Up!'s red rubber stamps are now better then ever!
Cling stamps were first introduced in Japan beginning with
their 2018-2019 annual catalog. The new stamp line has been a smashing
success. We are excited to offer cling stamps in all other markets
beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure.
During the transition, be sure to view product details carefully both in
publications (each stamp type is identified with an icon) and when
placing orders to note the stamp medium.
- Beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure, all new stamp sets will be available either in cling (for red rubber stamps) or photopolymer.
- Stamps in the 2018-2019 annual catalog will continue to be available in clear-mount, wood-mount, or photopolymer.
- Red rubber stamp sets (clear-mount or wood-mount) in the annual catalog that will be carrying over will transition to cling with the 2019-2020 annual catalog. Watch for more information about carryover stamp sets in April 2019 with the regularly scheduled communication about catalog transitions, the carryover list, and the retiring products list.
- In 2019-2020 annual catalog, clear-mount and wood-mount
stamps* will no longer be available. The only exception is background
stamps in North America only, which will still be available in
wood-mount.
- *Wood-mount stamp set sales have been steadily declining for several years. Stampin’ Up! research and sales teams took this and several other factors into consideration before discontinuing wood-mount stamps. We are confident the transition to cling stamps will be beneficial in many ways for demonstrators, customers, and the company.
