My share for today is a Card I made that is a take-off from a Card that was designed and shared with us by Stampin' Up. I changed a few things as I don't have the Diagonal Stripe Background Stamp. Maybe I will order it tomorrow! =)
Let's take a look:
My Card Base is Old Olive Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2".
Using Stampin' Up's new Daisy Delight Stamp Set, I stamped the Thank You repeatly in Old Olive Ink all the way down the right side as shown in the picture above.
Since I don't have the new Diagonal Stripe Background Stamp to make my own Diagonal plaid pattern, I trimmed out a piece of Moroccan Designer Series Paper to measure 1-3/4" x 3-3/4" and adhered it to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered a 4" length of 5/8" Burlap Ribbon to my Card with a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the top of the Ribbon only. (You don't want the Tape to show through the bottom of the Burlap Ribbon.)
I stamped my Sentiment in Early Espresso Ink, trimmed it into a Banner and adhered it to my Card with a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the top of the Banner only.
Using SU's new Daisy Delight Stamp Set, I stamped my Daisy twice in Daffodil Delight Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. Using SU's new Daisy Punch, I punched out both Daisies.
I stamped the top Daisy Center with Early Espresso Ink. I stamped another Daisy Center by stamping off once onto a piece of scrap cardstock and then onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock without re-inking, fussy cut it out and adhered it to the top Daisy with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I then added some of the glue from SU's Fine Tip Glue Bottle to the center of the Daisy. Once it was dry, I adhered the two Daisy's together with a Stampin' Dimensional and to my Card with another Stampin' Dimensional.
Using SU's Daisy Delight Stamp Set, I stamped 3 Leaves in Old Olive Ink by stamping off once onto a piece of cardstock and then onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I fussy cut out the Leaves and adhered them around the Daisy with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
I am just Lovin' this Daisy Bundle. I am hearing that it was so popular with the SU Demonstrator pre-orders that it is now in Backorder; but, another shipment will arrive at SU on June 5th. So, not too bad of a wait.
That's all I have for today. I hope you enjoyed my blog post and thanks for stopping by!
