My share for today is Stampin' Up's You Are My Anchor April 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit. Let's take a look:
I've been waiting for Stampin' Up! to come out with another Nautical themed Paper Pumpkin Kit. And, yes, they really WOWed me!
The Box that holds five 3" x 3" Cards is a real WOW factor for me! The cover slides off to reveal the Cards inside.
Pictured above are the five Cards...
And...the Envelopes that go with the Cards.
Stampin' Up! You Are My Anchor Paper Pumpkin Kit includes:
You Are My Anchor Photopolymer Stamp Set
Island Indigo Stampin' Ink Spot
20 Card Bases
20 Printed Envelopes
6 Die Cut Element Sheets
4 Printed Box Bases
4 Printed Box Lids
7 Yards Rope Twine
100 Adhesive Dots
100 Mini Dimensionals
My Paper Pumpkin blog post is late as I didn't get mine until the second shipping so I'm sure you all have put your kits together already.
Tip: I only put Stampin' Dimensionals on the Banner with the stamped Sentiment for the Life Saver Ring Card in the box on the left.
I put Stampin' Dimensionals on all the Banners with the Stamped Sentiment in the Box on the right. With that many Stampin' Dimensionals, it made the Box bulge a little bit.
As you can see in the pictures, the top of the Box on the left is flat and the top on the Box on the right is bulged out some. They both look fine and no one would really notice if I didn't say anything.
Another Tip: When combining the Wave, Boat and For You Stamps all together on your Block: My first attempt at stamping the 3 stamps onto the Round Tag, my Boat looked like it was in the air and not sitting on the Waves.
So, I trimmed some of the Photopolymer off the bottom of the Boat Stamp and some off the top of the Wave Stamp. After trimming the two stamps, my next attempt at stamping the 3 stamps together onto the Round Tag was perfect!
I LOVE to work with and create Nautical scenes and Stampin' Up! knocked this one out of the Park!

In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colors, Stampin' Up! decided it was time to give their color collections a makeover.
With this revamp, you’ll not only have new products, but also have a new variety of shades that will inspire creativity and allow you to explore more sides of your crafting.
There are still four color collections, each with ten colors. There is also a new color group called Basics.
.
In order to keep their color collections to exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors, they moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection and also moved a few colors into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colorful!
Some additional colors have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. These changes were based on needing to maintain color balance in our updated collections.

In addition to new colors, they also redesigned their ink pads. The case is a new, more intuitive design and they’ve improved the formula of the ink, as well! We think you will love these changes.
As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to order the new In-Color Ink Pads and I just LOVE the new design. Stampin' Up! never ceases to amaze me!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!
I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
