Stampin' Up Mistletoe & Holly Paper Pumpkin Alternate Card I

I had some extra time to play around with Stampin' Up's November Paper Pumpkin Kit called Mistletoe & Holly.  I designed four alternate cards using the items in the kit and some embossing powder and bling-bling from my personal stash.  Here's a picture of the first card:

The only items I added on this card are all the fabulous Stampin' Up bling-bling and some SU Black Emboss Powder for the sentiment..  I had an awful time with my embossing even with using my SU Emboss Buddy.  It just wanted to stick everywhere and there was so much static.

I partial die cut using the two largest SU Lots of Labels Framelits from the lined envelope (Yes - I said the Envelope) in the kit and adhered them vertically at the top of my card base.
I punched a scalloped oval, from the leftover die cut paper in the kit, with SU's Scallop Oval Punch, stamped the sentiment from the kit with VersaMark and heat embossed it with my SU Heat Tool and SU Black Emboss Powder.

The about picture shows the two cards that I made going by the instructions that come in the kit.

I will be posting my Paper Pumpkin cards that I designed at  http://www.mypumpkinchallenge.blogspot.com/ when the challenge opens up.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.  Stay tuned this week for the rest of my Mistletoe & Holly Paper Pumpkin alternate cards.

Stampin' Up Delicate Ornaments Christmas Tags/Ornaments II - Happy Shopping

Hi All...Can you move today?  I normally eat too much on Thanksgiving; but, I did very well and behaved yesterday so I'm moving pretty good today!

We are even going to go into Bay City tonight to Staples as I need some items for my computer and some supplies.  I hope the traffic isn't too bad and that there isn't any mad, crazy shoppers out there tonight.

Onto my project:

My Ornaments/Tags are the same as yesterdays blog post except I used the Noel image from Stampin' Up's Antique Tags Stamp Set.

I made the Envelope Punch Board Box Holder the same as on yesterdays blog post except I chose a different pattern from SU's Merry Moments Paper Stack.  The measurements and directions are on yesterdays blog post.

Another great Tag/Ornament set for gifts for family and friends for Christmas!

Stampin' Up's Delicate Ornament Thinlits Dies make awesome Tags and Ornaments.  The die cuts and stamping are the same as yesterdays blog except I used the NOEL image instead of the Santa.

And, I really blinged them up with SU's Silver and Gold Glimmer papers.  I wish the shine and glisten would show up more in the pictures.

That's all I have for today!  Hope you are able to get some of your own craftiness in this weekend.  Enjoy!  Hope you can come back on Monday!

Stampin' Up Delicate Ornaments Christmas Tags/Ornaments - Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!  We have turkey legs and homemade noodles in the oven with sweet potatoes and salads.  Yum!  Have I made you hungry now!

It's dreary here today with a little spritzing of rain and around 55 degrees.

On to today's project:

I made four tags/ornaments using Stampin' Up's Antique Tags Stamp Set and SU's Delicate Ornaments Thinlits Dies.

There's two different SU color combinations; Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow, Real Red and Old Olive.

I die cut the large bulb die from SU's Delicate Ornaments Thinlits Dies from SU's Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, Real Red and Old Olive Cardstocks.

The ornament bulb caps were die cut from SU's Silver and Gold Foil Paper.

I stamped each Santa image twice, leaving one image whole and punching out the Santa from the other image.  I adhered the punched Santa piece's with Stampin' Dimensionals to the center of the whole tags.  I then adhered the whole piece to the Delicate Ornaments bulbs using Stampin' Dimensionals.  I should have taken a picture to show you the marvelous height that I acquired using the Stampin' Dimensionals.

I cut about 6" of SU's Old Olive Bakers Twine and tied them on the ornaments for the hangers.

Stampin' Up's Basic Jewel Rhinestones were adhered to each side of each Delicate Ornament bulb to give them some shiny bling-bling!

Now, I have four tags and need a holder to put them in so I got out my Stampin' Up Envelope Punch Board and went to work:

I created this tag holder box using SU's Merry Moments Designer Series Paper Stack.  My paper was cut to 5 1/4"x5 1/4".  I inserted the paper to the 3" mark and punched and scored.  Then slide to 3 3/4" and punch and score.  Repeat this 2 more times for the Open Box style by lining up your score lines with the needle on the Envelope Punch Board.  Then just punch the last 2 score lines.  Oh, I cut the center front flap off even with the sides of the box.

I made one more Santa image for the front of the box and inserted one of SU's Doilies into the box for a pretty background.

I think they turned out awesome and would make great gifts for family and friends for Christmas!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.  Hope you are enjoying a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends.

Stampin' Up Elf Mini Treat Bag Pocket Card With Insert

Well, my internet was out again all day yesterday and this morning.  The Technician was here this morning and installed another new modem.  That will be like 4 new modems in a little over a year.  What up with that!!!  I'm so glad that I'm back up and running!

Today I have another Pocket Card to show you that is designed to look like an Elf:

Adorable, right!  I die cut Stampin' Up's Mini Treat Bag with SU's Old Olive Card Stock and assembled it as normal.

I cut a piece of SU Old Olive Card Stock 4 3/4"x1 1/2" and paper pierced each long side using SU's Updated Essentials Paper Piercing Pack.  It was then adhered to the center of the Mini Treat Bag with MonoMulti Purpose glue.

For the Elf's Collar, I punched one 2" scalloped circle using SU's 2" Scalloped Circle Punch (Retired), cut it in half and adhered the two pieces to the Mini Treat Bag with MonoMulti Purpose glue.

I cut a piece of SU's Basic Black Card Stock 8 3/4"x1" for the Elf's Belt Belly Band and loosely adhered it to the center of the Mini Treat Bag with SU's Fast Fuse

For the Belt Buckle, I die cut SU's Gold Foil Paper using SU's Square Framelits Collections (the second smallest square dies).  I die cut a square of SU's Basic Black Card Stock with the smallest square die.   I used MonoMulti Purpose glue to adhere the Black CS piece to the center of the Gold Foil Paper piece.  Then I glued the Buckle to the center of the Belt Belly Band.

I selected a piece of SU's Merry Moments Designer Series Paper, cut it at 4 3/4"x3/4" and adhered it to the bottom of the Mini Treat Bag with MonoMulti Purpose glue.

Above is a picture of the Note Card Insert that you can write your note on and tuck it away inside the Mini Treat Bag.

For the Note Card Insert, I selected a piece of SU's Merry Moments DSP and cut it at
4 1/2"x3".

I die cut a Banner using SU's Banner Framelits Dies (3rd die from left) with Old Olive Card Stock.  This is were you can write your note.  I took about 3" of SU Red Ribbon (may still be in the clearance rack), folded it in half and stapled the Banner, Ribbon and DSP together.

I stamped the Sentiment from the November Monthly Paper Pumpkin Kit called Mistletoe & Holly in SU Black Memento Archival Ink.

I stamped the Glad Tidings At Christmas from SU's Antique Tags Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink and adhered it centered on the DSP on the bottom of the Mini Treat Bag.

I couldn't stop at just one Elf Pocket Card as I just love how these turned out!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  Hope you can come back tomorrow!

Stampin' Up Pocket Card with Snowman Tag/Ornament

Hi All!  I had a week off; but, I personally didn't get much accomplished as I wasn't feeling my best.

Our Brother-In-Law, who lost his wife earlier this year, was here for the week.  It was nice to have him here and we are proud of him for handling Laurie's death so well.  We were quite worried for him.

Anyways, he helped my Husband move the furniture back in the rooms upstairs that we re-modeled.  They also took off all the doors and cut them down so they can close now since the carpet was installed.  Now, we get to start all over on the BIG room across the front of the house.  Oh Boy!!!

In October this year, I was honored to be asked by my very dear Friend and fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator, Kadie, to participate in a Snowman Card Swap for Kadie's Saddle-Up Event.  Gosh, that was so much fun and I received so many awesome snowman cards in return for the card I will be showing you today.  Kadie and Kadie's group has some mad, artistic talent and I LOVE all the cards I received.  I just LOVE my SnowMen!!!  Below is a picture of the card that I made for Kadie's Saddle-Up Event - Snowman Card Swap:

I made a Pocket Card with a Note Card Insert and a Snowman Tag/Ornament.  There's a mixture of Retired and New Stampin' Up products that I used.

The Designer Series Paper is retired.

The Jolly sentiment is from SU's new Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies in the SU Holiday Catalog.

I used SU's new Snow Flurry Punch to punch the 2 snowflakes and put a SU Cherry Cobbler Candy Dot in the center.

Above is a picture of the Note Card Insert.  For the sentiment, I used Stampin' Up's Host set called Antique Tags.

I used SU's new Curvy Corner Trio Punch and punched the corners of the DSP Note Card Insert.

Then I added a small piece of SU Whisper White Card Stock to the insert so you can write a note to the recipient.

Above is a picture of the Snowman Tag/Ornament.   The SU Snowman Stamp Set called Cold Play is Retired and I will never part with this set.  It's just too cute to part with!

I used various sizes of SU Circle and Scalloped Circle punchs and SU Whisper White Card Stock to build my Snowman.  Then, I ran the 2 Scalloped Circles through the Big Shot in a SU Retired Embossing Folder called Northern Flurry.

I designed the hat on the SU Envelope Punch Board and wrapped some SU Gold 1/8" ribbon around the hat and tied it off.

The Snowman's arms were punched using SU's new Tree Builder Punch.  Clever huh!  =)

Three gold hearts from SU's Metallic Sequins Assortment were adhered to the front of the Snowman with SU's new Fine Tip Glue Bottle.

I used SU's Handheld Hole Punch and punched a hole in the Snowman's hat.  I tied on some new SU Gold Cording for the hanger.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  Hope you enjoyed my card!

There,s a lot going on with Stampin' Up right now.  The SU Online Extravaganza is going on today, November 23 through November 30.  Some great deals and deep discounts.

The SU Retiring List for the Holiday Catalog is out and ready to be able to order from.  I will sure hate to see some of these treasures go.

There's also the SU Weekly Deals and some more great deals in the Clearance Rack.
