Gosh...it would be nice to see some sun pretty soon! It's just another drizzly, dreary day out today!
My share for today is a card I designed for a Wonderful and Talented fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator, Mary Fish. Mary hit her Million Dollars in Personal Sales this month. I am in awe of Mary, her talent, her group, The Paper Pals, and all that she has done in her Stampin' Up career! Wowzers!!! What a feat!!! Congratulations Mary!!! Well done!!!
I am entering my Congratulations card for Mary into the Pals Paper Arts Challenge PPA320. Another Good Friend and Fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator, Dawn Tidd, created a very nice and easy sketch for this challenge.
The Stampin' Up products that I used are Foxy Friends and Best Birds Stamp Sets, A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper Stack, Perfect Pines, Lots of Labels and Layering Ovals Framelits Dies and Fox Builder, Banner Triple and Classic Label Punches.
Let's take a look:
Stinkin' cute, eh!!! I know, very punny!!!
My card base is Stampin' Up's Pool Party Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2".
My card front panel is a piece from SU's A Little Foxy Designer Series Stack cut at 4-1/8" x 5-1/8". I adhered a piece of Pool Party Glitter Ribbon (Retired but still available in the Clearance Rack) to the side of my card front panel and then adhered it to my card base using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I trimmed out a flagged banner with Calypso Coral Cardstock at 5/8" x 3", flagged the end using SU's Banner Triple Punch and adhered it to my card with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
The Pool Party Glitter Ribbon and the Calypso Coral flagged banner are what's required in Dawn's sketch only I used mine on the left side of my card instead of the right.
I used SU's Fox Builder Punch to create this Stinkin' Cute little Skunk. I stamped his face using SU's Foxy Friends Stamp Set and Black Memento Ink.
Again, using SU's Foxy Friends Stamp Set, I stamped the tree onto Whisper White Cardstock in Old Olive ink, die cut it out using SU's Perfect Pines Framelits Dies and adhered it to my card with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I stamped the Stump onto Soft Suede Cardstock with Soft Suede Ink, fussy cut it out and adhered it to my card with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I stamped the Ferns onto Whisper White Cardstock with Old Olive Ink, fussy cut them out and adhered them to my card with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue. For the center Fern, I stamped off once onto scrap paper and then onto the Whisper White Cardstock without re-inking for a more lighter look.
I stamped the 3 Mushrooms onto Whisper White Cardstock with Cajun Craze Ink, fussy cut it out and adhered it to my card with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
For the inside of my card; Using SU's Lots of Labels Framelits Dies, I die cut a Label from Calypso Coral Cardstock.
Using SU's Layering Ovals, I die cut a Scalloped Oval from Pool Party Cardstock.
Using SU's Foxy Friends Stamp Set, I stamped two Ferns onto the Label.
I adhered the Oval to the Label and to the inside of my card using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
Using SU's Best Birds Stamp Set, I stamped my sentiment in Black Memento Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and adhered it to the Skunk underneath his paws.
So, Congratulations Mary! You're AWESOME!!!
And, thank you Dawn for the sketch!!!
That's all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by my blog! Have a great weekend!!!
I
recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects,
duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes. My cards and
projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or
sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my
creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions
cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!

Stampin' Up Weather Together, Umbrella Weather, Timeless Textures, Fresh Fruit
Goodness, ya' better put some rocks in your pockets today! It's so windy out today you might get blown away! It's been cloudy and rainy all week long so the ingredients for my card are quite fitting!
My share for today is a card that I designed using paper, die cuts and Enamel Shapes that my Good Friend and Fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator, Kadie, sent to me for a challenge. This is my second challenge and I just LOVE playing along. It's so fun to see what you can come up with using all the bits and pieces!
The Stampin' Up products that were used are Weather Together, Timeless Textures and Fresh Fruit Stamp Sets, Umbrella Weather Thinlits Dies and Enamel Shapes.
Let's take a look:
Ha! Bet you thought there would be some rain or type of weather in my card, didn't you!!! Nope, I turned the gorgeous umbrella's into butterflies!!! As soon as I saw Kadie's gorgeous umbrella's in my packet, I hacked them up into butterfly wings!!! =) Isn't that funny! Don't ask me where I come up with these things as I don't have an answer for you! I just know that I LOVE how it turned out. The gorgeous umbrella's made for some gorgeous butterfly wings!
Kadie's packet included:
An A2 Card Base in Rich Razzleberry
A piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock that I used for my Card Front Panel
I stamped my Card Front Panel using the small splotch stamp from SU's Timeless Textures Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink.
Two Umbrella's; one in Rich Razzleberry
And one in Delightfil Dijon Cardstock. I trimmed off the rounded end from the umbrella handle and used them for the Butterflies' bodies.
A piece of Soft Sky Cardstock which I made into a flagged banner. I stamped my sentiment from SU's Fresh Fruit Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink.
And, three Heart Enamel Shapes that I used for the Butterflies' heads and on my sentiment. I used a Black Sharpie to draw the eye's.
What a fun, fun challenge this was! Thanks so much for sending me a packet Kadie!!!

Stampin' Up Holly Berry Happiness, Seasonal Bells, Bell Punch, Holly Berry Builder Punch, Christmas Stockings, Bunch of Banners, Layering Ovals, Presents & Pinecones
My share for today is a Christmas card that I designed using Stampin' Up's Holly Berry Happiness and Seasonal Bells Stamp Sets, Holly Berry Builder and Bell Punches, Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper and Christmas Stockings Thinlits Dies and Bunch of Banners and Layering Ovals Framelits Dies.
Let's take a look:
My card base is Cherry Cobbler Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" X 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a side opening card. I haven't made this type of card in a long time.
My top card front panel is Delightful Dijon Cardstock cut at 2" x 5-1/8" and adhered to my card base with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
My bottom card front panel is the Bell piece from Stampin' Up's Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper cut at 1-7/8" x 5-1/8" and adhered to my card base with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
Using SU's Christmas Stockings Thinlits Dies, I die cut the Noel image from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and adhered it to the top of my card with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
Using SU's Bell Punch, I punched 3 Bells from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and adhered them to the Noel image with Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.
Again, using SU's Christmas Stockings Thinlits Dies, I die cut the Stocking with the Snowflake in the center 3 times from Delightful Dijon Cardstock. I adhered the Snowflakes to the center of each bell with a small piece of Stampin' Dimensionals. I'm using the 3 Stockings for another project.
Using SU's Holly Berry Happiness Stamp Set, I stamped the Bow image on Emerald Envy Cardstock 3 times, punched them out with SU's Bell Punch and then adhered them to the top of each Bell with a small piece of Stampin' Dimensionals.
For the inside of my card;
I die cut a Scalloped Oval from Emerald Envy Cardstock using SU's Layering Ovals Framelits Dies and adhered it to the inside of my card with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
Using SU's Seasonal Bells Stamp Set, I stamped my sentiment in Cherry Cobbler Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. I die cut the sentiment out using SU's Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies and adhered it to the top of my Oval with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
And, of course, as all of you know by now, I have to add my FAVE. I adhered 3 Cherry Cobbler Circle Enamel Shapes to the center of my Snowflakes and 3 White Perfect Accents to the center of each Bow.
Another quick and easy card with a lot of elegance!
I'm in LOVE with this color combination also and so very happy with the way my card turned out!
