July–December 2021 Mini Holiday Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure Have Launched....AND....
PREPARE TO SALE-A-BRATE!
AUGUST 3 - SEPTEMBER 30, 2021
Sale-A-Bration is one of Stampin' Up!'s biggest promotions of the year. It’s packed with perks for demonstrators, overflowing with opportunities for customers and filled with fun for everyone!
Stampin' Up! had a few troubles with their computer system and are offering anyone to be able to purchase the Hope Box Paper Pumpkin Kit, whether you are a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber or not!!! Wowzers...that is a real treat!!!
My share for today is an Alternate Card that I designed using the contents from Stampin' Up!'s August 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Hope Box and more. Stampin' Up! cofounder, Shelli Gardner, created the Hope Box to help us find what makes us hopeful. We can collect mementos and precious objects and keep a curated Hope Box as a place to turn to for some self-love and inspiration. Thank you so much Shelli for such a beautiful kit. Let's take a look:
My Card Base is Whisper White Cardstock.
I trimmed out five strips from the Pool Party and Melon Mambo Card Bases and the Bermuda Bay Card Front Panel in the Hope Box Paper Pumpkin Kit to measure 1" x 4-1/4".
I adhered the strips with Mono Multi Purpose Glue by evenly spacing the strips down the front of my Whisper White Card Base leaving about a 1/4" of the Whisper White showing at the top and 1/4" showing at the bottom of my Card Base.
Using the Scalloped Contours dies, I die cut out the Scalloped/Dashed die from a Bermuda Bay Card Front Panel in the Kit.
I cut a length of the Blackberry Bliss Ribbon from the Kit, wrapped it around the Bermuda Bay die cut panel, folded the ends over on the back of the die cut panel and adhered the ends down with both Mono Multi Purpose Glue and Tape as shown in the picture above. I then frayed the ends of the Ribbon. I wanted to do something different with the Ribbon.
I adhered the die cut panel to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I adhered two die die cuts from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack to the Card Front Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using the Love You More Than dies, I die cut out the word 'LOVE' from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock and adhered it to my Card Front Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered one of the small Butterflies from the Kit to my Card Front Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
For the inside of my Card:
I trimmed out a panel of Melon Mambo Cardstock to measure 2" x 3-3/8" and adhered it to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I trimmed out a panel of a Bermuda Bay Image from one of the Envelopes in the Kit to measure 1-1/2" x 3-1/8".
Using the Hope Box Stamp Set, I masked my stamp and only stamped the word 'Always' in Blackberry Bliss Ink onto the panel.
I adhered the panel to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I randomly adhered seven of the Adhesive Backed Sequins from the Kit to the front of my Card.
