Sale-A-Bration is one of Stampin' Up!'s biggest promotions of the year. It’s packed with perks for demonstrators, overflowing with opportunities for customers and filled with fun for everyone!
My share for today is a Get Well Squirrel Shaker Card that I designed using lots of new products from Stampin' Up!'s 2021 Mini Holiday Catalog, the August 3 - Sept 30, the 2021 Sale-A-Bration Brochure, the May 2021-April 2022 Annual Catalog and More. Let's take a look:
My Card Base is Early Espresso Cardstock.
My Card Front Panel is the Tree Rings pattern from the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper trimmed out to measure 4-1/4" x 5-1/2".
Using the Birds & More dies, I die cut out the Circle/Branch die in the center of my Card Front Panel.
Using the Nuts About Squirrels Stamp Set, I stamped the outline detail image Squirrel stamp in Memento Black Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock.
I then stamped the solid image Squirrel in Cinnamon Cider Ink over the outline Squirrel image.
I stamped the top of the Acorn in Crumb Cake Ink and the bottom of the Acorn in Soft Suede Ink.
I fussy cut out the Squirrel, went around the edges with my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker and adhered the Squirrel to the Branches on my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I also stamped about 12-14 Acorns and fussy cut them out for some of the Shaker contents.
I hand cut out a Circle from a Window Sheet and adhered it to the back of my Card Front Panel.
I flipped the Card Front Panel over and adhered Foam Strips around the Circle.
Using the Seasonal Swirls dies, I die cut out some Leaves in Mango Medley and Poppy Parade Cardstock.
I put the Leaves and the Acorns in the center of the Circle Foam area and adhered a hand cut Circle from Granny Apple Green Cardstock over the Foam.
I then adhered the Card Front Panel to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using the Birds & More dies, I die cut out two of the Branch die from the Tree Ring pattern and adhered them to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue. (I snipped some of the Branches off and adhered the pieces.)
I also die cut the Berries on the Branches from Misty Moonlight Cardstock and adhered them to my Branches with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using the Double Oval Punch, I punched out a scalloped Oval from Shimmery White Cardstock.
Using the Nuts About Squirrels Stamp Set, I stamped my saying onto a piece of Granny Apple Green Cardstock, fussy cut it out and adhered it to the scalloped Oval and to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
