July–December 2021 Mini Holiday Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure Have Launched....AND....
PREPARE TO SALE-A-BRATE!
AUGUST 3 - SEPTEMBER 30, 2021
Sale-A-Bration is one of Stampin' Up!'s biggest promotions of the year. It’s packed with perks for demonstrators, overflowing with opportunities for customers and filled with fun for everyone!
My share for today is a BOO Halloween Card that I designed using lots of new products from Stampin' Up!'s August 3 - January 3, 2021 Mini Holiday Catalog, the August 3 - Sept 30, 2021 Sale-A-Bration Brochure, the May 2021-April 2022 Annual Catalog and More. Let's take a look:
Here's another non-traditional Halloween...Flirty Flamingo Card Base...who'd a thought!!!
My Card Base is Flirty Flamingo Cardstock.
Using the Scalloped Contours dies, I die cut the front bottom of my Card Base with the Scalloped/Dotted Border die about a 1/4" up from the bottom.
I trimmed out a panel of Basic Black Cardstock to measure 1" x 4-1/4", die cut the bottom with the Scalloped/Dotted Border die and adhered it to the bottom of the inside of my Card.
Using the Scalloped/Dotted Rectangle die, I die cut out a Rectangle from the Grey/White/Striped pattern in the Cute Halloween 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper. Note: I partial die cut the Rectangle twice, once on the bottom and once on the top so it measured about 3-1/4" in length. So, you only roll about half of the Rectangle through your Stampin' Up! Cut & Emboss Machine, turn the paper around and reposition your die to make the Rectangle shorter and only roll it partially through your machine.
I adhered the Rectangle to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using the Seasonal Swirls dies, I die cut the Star Swirl twice; once from Basic Black Cardstock and once from Highland Heather Cardstock.
I adhered the two Star Swirls together and to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using the Halloween Punch, I punched out the Black Cat from the Cat/Pumpkin/Candy\Gray pattern in the Cute Halloween DSP and adhered it to my Card with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
Again, using the Seasonal Swirls dies, I die cut out three Bats from Basic Black Cardstock and adhered one to my Card as shown in the picture above. (The other two Bats are for the inside of my Card.)
Using the Thinking Thanks & Peace Stamp Set, I stamped 'Boo with the Ghost' in Memento Black Ink just below the right bottom corner of the Rectangle.
I fussy cut out the three goofy looking Skeleton Heads from the Skeleton/Grave Stone/Black pattern in the Cute Halloween DSP and adhered them to the bottom Scallops with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using the Cutest Halloween Stamp Set, I stamped the Spider in Memento Black Ink onto a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock, fussy cut the Spider out and adhered the Spider to the last Scallop with a Mini Stampin' Dimensional.
For the inside of my Card: (Yippy Skippy...I remembered to take a pic of the inside of my Card.)
I trimmed out a panel of Whisper White Cardstock to measure 4" x 4-1/4" and adhered it to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I fussy cut out three Grave Stones from the Skeleton/Grave Stone/ Black pattern in the Cute Halloween DSP and adhered them to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
I adhered the last two Bats to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
I cut a length of Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon, tied it into a Bow and adhered the Bow to my Swirls with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered one Large and two Small Black Cute Star Adhesive Backed Sequins to my Card as shown in the picture above. (The Cute Stars Adhesive Backed Sequins are two sizes, have 150 Sequins, 50 each of Highland Heather, Pumpkin Pie and Shimmery Black.)
