It's a beautiful, sunny day outside today in Midland, Michigan; especially, after a weekend of more storms. Heavy Sigh!!! More trees and tree limbs down. The last storm snapped our Peach Tree in half and it was loaded with our FAVE Peaches. Another Heavy Sigh!!! At least, the humidity is gone for now. Our high temp for today is 83F with a low tonight of 57F. The winds are WNW at 10 to 15mph.

July–December 2021 Mini Holiday Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure Have Launched....AND....
PREPARE TO SALE-A-BRATE!
AUGUST 3 - SEPTEMBER 30, 2021
Sale-A-Bration is one of Stampin' Up!'s biggest promotions of the year. It’s packed with perks for demonstrators, overflowing with opportunities for customers and filled with fun for everyone!
Stampin' Up! had a few troubles with their computer system and are offering anyone to be able to purchase the Hope Box Paper Pumpkin Kit from August 24 to August 31, 2021, whether you are a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber or not!!! Wowzers...that is a real treat!!!
My share for today is an Alternate Project that I designed using the contents from Stampin' Up!'s August 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Hope Box, Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack and more. Stampin' Up! cofounder, Shelli Gardner, created the Hope Box to help us find what makes us hopeful. We can collect mementos and precious objects and keep a curated Hope Box as a place to turn to for some self-love and inspiration. Thank you so much Shelli for such a beautiful kit. Let's take a look:
With all the severe weather over the weekend, I hunkered down and fussy cut out Negative die cuts (where the printed die cuts have already been removed from the sheets) and made a Banner of Butterflies and Flowers.
Pictured above is the first half of the Banner.
And...pictured above is the second half of the Banner. It's not easy to take pic's of a long Banner!!! 😓😓😓
Here is the first two Tags...(I'm glad my kitchen cupboards are clean!) 😊😊😊
Left: The Negative Tag die cut is from the Blackberry Bliss Ephemera Pack. I measured the Negative die cut opening, trimmed out a panel from the Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Paper and adhered it to the back of the Negative Tag die cut.
I fussy cut out the Negative Leaf Stem die cut from the Hope Box Paper Pumpkin Kit, adhered a panel of Pool Party Cardstock to the back of the Negative Leaf Stem die cut and fussy cut it out.
I adhered the Leaf Stem to the Tag with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Right: The Negative Banner die cut is from the Hope Box Paper Pumpkin Kit. I measured the Negative die cut opening, trimmed out a panel from Bermuda Bay Cardstock, fishtailed the ends with my Snips and adhered it to the back of the Negative Banner die cut.
I fussy cut out the Negative Butterfly and Flower die cuts from the Hope Box Paper Pumpkin Kit, adhered the Butterfly to Blackberry Bliss Cardstock and the Flower to the Blackberry Beauty DSP, fussy cut them out and adhered them to the Banner with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I won't go into detail on each Tag on my Banner as I think the first two were explained pretty well for you to see how each were made.
After I had each Tag designed and put together, I cut lengths of the 3/8" Gold Shimmer Ribbon and cut them through the middle lengthwise with my Snips.
I cut more lengths of the Ribbon and frayed it so I had lots of lengths of Gold thread.
I laid for lengths of the frayed Ribbon in the center of the lengths of Ribbon, tied them into a knot and adhered them to the tops of the Tags.
I purchased some of the Gold Clips from Stampin' Up!'s Clearance Rack. I adhered the Tags to my string with the Gold Clips.
I love the Gold Threads from the Ribbon as when you walk by, they sway and give off a glittery shine.
I adhered lots of Adhesive Backed Sequins from the Hope Box Paper Pumpkin Kit to each Tag, Butterfly and Flower.
Yes...that was a lot of work and very well worth the effort! It was too stormy and too hot and humid to be outside.
