My share for today is three Cone Flower Cards that I designed using lots of new products from Stampin' Up!'s 2021 Mini Holiday Catalog, the August 3 - Sept 30, the 2021 Sale-A-Bration Brochure, the May 2021-April 2022 Annual Catalog and More. Let's take a look:
Check out this new Cork Specialty Paper...I am totally in LOVE with it!!! It makes for a beautiful background and more!!! 😊😊😊
My Card Base is Merry Merlot Cardstock.
My Card Front Panel is the Cork Specialty Paper trimmed out to measure 3-3/4" x 5" and adhered to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
As I mentioned on Friday, I cleaned out my die cutting drawer in my studio and came across an old embossing mat and thought that I would give it a go. Wowzers...it really gave some extra embossing effects to my Cone Flowers and Leaves. You can even see the little dots in the Flower Centers. I sure hope Stampin' Up! comes out with their embossing mat soon!
Using the new Harvest dies, I die cut out two Leaf Stems from Mossy Meadow Cardstock, two Branches from Soft Succulent Cardstock two Stems from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock, two Cone Flowers from Merry Merlot Cardstock and two Flower Centers from Early Espresso Cardstock.
I trimmed and assembled my Cone Flowers and adhered all the die cuts and the Flowers to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above. I adhered the Cone Flower on the left with a Stampin' Dimensional.
Using the Blossoms In Bloom Stamp Set, I stamped 'Happy Birthday' in Merry Merlot Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and trimmed it out to measure 1/4" x 2-1/8".
Using the Meadow dies, I die cut out the Label from Merry Merlot Cardstock.
I adhered the 'Happy Birthday' to the Merry Merlot Label with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and them to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
For my Second Cone Flower Card, I did everything the same as my first Card except:
My Card Base is Calypso Coral Cardstock.
My Card Front Panel is from the new Silver Foil Specialty Pack (Matte Finish) trimmed out to measure 3" x 5". (The Silver Foil Specialty Pack has 3 Sheets: 1 of each finish - Brushed, Matte and Mirrored.)
Using the Scalloped Contours dies, I die cut the right edge with the Scalloped die and adhered the Card Front Panel to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensioals.
I adhered five Silver Epoxy Essentials to my Card as shown in the picture above.
For my third Card, I did everything the same as the First Card except:
My Card Base is Poppy Parade Cardstock.
My Card Front Panel is the Mirrored Silver Foil trimmed out to measure 3-3/4" x 5" and adhered to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using the Festive Finishes dies, I die cut out the Label from Poppy Parade Cardstock.
Using the Blossoms In Bloom Stamp Set, I stamped 'Thinking of You' in Poppy Parade Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and trimmed it out to measure 5/8" x 1-7/8".
