July–December 2021 Mini Holiday Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure Have Launched....AND....
PREPARE TO SALE-A-BRATE!
AUGUST 3 - SEPTEMBER 30, 2021
Sale-A-Bration is one of Stampin' Up!'s biggest promotions of the year. It’s packed with perks for demonstrators, overflowing with opportunities for customers and filled with fun for everyone!
My share for today is a 'Nuts About You!' Squirrel Card that I designed using lots of new products from Stampin' Up!'s 2021 Mini Holiday Catalog, the August 3 - Sept 30, the 2021 Sale-A-Bration Brochure, the May 2021-April 2022 Annual Catalog and More. Let's take a look:
Ya' know, I really need to move on to other new Stampin' Up! products; but, I just can't stop working with these adorable Squirrels!!!
My Card Base is Whisper White Thick Cardstock.
My Card Front Panel is the Blue Sky pattern in the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper trimmed out to measure 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using the long Border die in the Polar Bears dies, I die cut out my bottom border from the Multi Color pattern in the Beauty of the Earth DSP and adhered it to the bottom of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue. (This is for my Ground or Grounding of the Squirrel so it doesn't look like the Squirrel is floating in the air.)
Using the Beautiful Trees dies, I die cut out a Tree from the Tree Rings pattern in the Beauty of the Earth DSP and adhered it to the right side of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using the Nuts About Squirrels Stamp Set, I stamped the outline detail image Squirrel stamp in Memento Black Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock.
I then stamped the solid image Squirrel in Cinnamon Cider Ink over the outline Squirrel image.
I stamped the top of the Acorn in Crumb Cake Ink and the bottom of the Acorn in Soft Suede Ink.
I fussy cut out the Squirrel, when around the edges with my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker and adhered the Squirrel to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using the Nuts About Squirrels Stamp Set, I stamped a lot of Leaves in Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron and Old Olive Inks.
Using the Leaf Vein stamp, I stamped the Veins in Early Espresso Ink by stamping off once onto a scrap piece of paper and then onto the Leaf.
I fussy cut out the Leaves. Yes, that's a lot of Leaves to fussy cut; but, it sure is worth the effort. And, with my severe arthritis, it took me several days to fussy cut them all out.
I adhered a lot of Leaves in a pile around the Squirrel and under the Tree with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered one of each color Leaves to the Tree with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
Using the Sharing Sunshine Stamp Set, I stamped the Circle stamp in So Saffron Ink onto So Saffron Cardstock by stamping off once onto scrap paper and then onto the Cardstock.
Using the Nuts About Squirrels Stamp Set, I stamped the 'Nuts About You!' stamp in Early Espresso Ink onto the center of the So Saffron Circle, die cut it out with the Layering Circles dies and adhered it to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Sigh...I just LOVE these Squirrels.

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!
I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
