Coffee Break, Coffee Cafe, More Than Chocolate, Coffee Cups - VIII

It's a gorgeous day outside today.  The sun is shining full on and the temp's should get into the 60's.  I see another day of yard work!!!  It's so nice to be able to get outside and enjoy the sunshine.

My share for today is two Matchbook Hot Chocolate Packet Holders that I made.  Let's take a look:

The nights in Michigan are still cold and it's nice to sit and relax with a cup of Hot Chocolate!  Yum!

My Hot Chocolate Matchbook Holder Base is Soft Suede Cardstock cut at 4" x 10-7/8" and scored and folded at 3/4", 5-7/8" and 6-1/8".

I folded up the 3/4" section and stapled it three times with my SU Stapler (retired) as shown in the picture above.

Using SU's Coffee Cups Framelits Dies, I die cut out the Small Oval from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock and adhered it on top of the Staple on the left with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I fussy cut out a small Cup from Stampin' Up's Coffee Break Designers Series Paper and adhered it over the Oval with a Stampin' Dimensional.

Using SU's Coffee Cafe Stamp Set, I stamped the Coffee Stopper in Soft Sky Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and die cut it out with SU's coordinating Coffee Cup Framelits Dies.  I fussy cut the Heart off of the Stopper and adhered it to the Small Coffee Cup with a small piece of Stampin' Dimensional.

For my Belly Band:

I trimmed out a strip of Coffee Break DSP to measure 3/4" x 10" and scored it at
2-3/4", 3", 7" and 7-1/4", wrapped it around my Matchbook Holder with the packet of Hot Chocolate in it and adhered it together in the front with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.  (Your Cup will hide the splice in the Belly Band.)

Using SU's Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, I die cut the 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" Scalloped Oval from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock.

Using SU's Coffee Cafe Stamp Set, I stamped the Whipped Cream in Soft Suede Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock.

Using SU's More Than Chocolate Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment onto Crumb Cake Cardstock.

Using SU's Coffee Cups Framelits Dies, I die cut out the Cup from Coffee Break DSP.  I also die cut out the Whipped Cream with the Whipped Cream Die and my Sentiment with the Coffee Wrap Die.

Using my SU Soft Suede Stampin' Write Marker, I colored around the Whipped Cream die cut edges.  I then adhered the Whipped Cream to the back of the Cup with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered the Coffee Wrap to the Cup with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and the Cup to my Scalloped Oval and then to my Belly Band with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I fussy cut out some of the Leaves with Cocoa Berries from Coffee Break DSP and adhered them with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

Using SU's More than Chocolate Stamp Set, I stamped the Sentiment in Soft Suede Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock.

Using SU's Layering Oval Framelits Dies, I die cut out my Sentiment with the
1-1/2" x 2-1/2" Oval die, another Oval from Coffee Break DSP with the 1-3/4" x 2-5/8" Oval die and another Oval from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock with the 2" x 3" Oval die.  I adhered the 3 Ovals together with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and to the Hot Chocolate Packet with Glue Dots as shown in the picture above.  ( I off-centered the middle Oval. )

I fussy cut another Leaf with Cocoa Berries from the Coffee Break DSP and adhered it to the top Oval with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I did the same for my Second Hot Chocolate Matchbook Holder except I used Soft Suede Cardstock for my Scalloped Oval, Coffee Break DSP for the Matchbook Base, Soft Sky DSP for the Cup and Soft Sky Cardstock for the Small Oval.

I also did the same for the inside of my Matchbook except I used Soft Sky, Soft Suede and Coffee Break DSP for my Scalloped Ovals.

I stamped my Sentiment from More Than Chocolate Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink onto the Small Soft Sky Oval.

I adhered all the Ovals together with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and to the Hot Chocolate Packet with Glue Dots.

Fun, Fun and Fun projects!!!

Again, my eye is still dilated and my vision is not so good in that eye yet so I hope I got everything posted correctly as it is still so hard with a Boo Boo eye!

I've also created 2 more Cards to go along with these Matchbook Holders so I hope you can come back tomorrow to take a look at them!

And, I didn't proof my blog today as I was in a hurry to get outside and enjoy the sunshine.  Hope you understand!!!

Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!

Blessings!

Lynn

COLOR-REVAMP_DEMO_HEADER_USCA

In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colors, Stampin' Up! decided it was time to give their color collections a makeover.

With this revamp, you’ll not only have new products, but also have a new variety of shades that will inspire creativity and allow you to explore more sides of your crafting.

There are still four color collections, each with ten colors. There is also a new color group called Basics.
.
In order to keep their color collections to exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors, they moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection and also moved a few colors into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colorful!

Some additional colors have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  These changes were based on needing to maintain color balance in our updated collections.

In addition to new colors, they also redesigned their ink pads. The case is a new, more intuitive design and they’ve improved the formula of the ink, as well! We think you will love these changes.

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to order the new In-Color Ink Pads and I just LOVE the new design.  Stampin' Up! never ceases to amaze me!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
