Coffee Break, Coffee Cafe, Lemon Zest, Coffee Cups - VI

It was so nice to have a couple days of warm weather.  We got a lot of yard work done. The clouds moved in today and we are supposed to get light, scattered sprinkles through tomorrow morning.

My Hubby took me to the eye Dr. yesterday.  What a long day that turned out to be.  We left at 10 in the morning and didn't get home until after 2 in the afternoon.  Dr. had an unexpected patient from the hospital and we ended up waiting for almost 3 hours.  Yikes!  That was a long day for someone with a bad back to sit and wait.  Anyways, my eye looked much better and I don't have to dilate it anymore; but, I have to wean myself off of the steroid eye drops and go back to see Dr. in a month.  Needless to say, we took the first appointment of the day!

My share for today is two Matchbook Cold Brew Tea Packet Holders that I made.  Let's take a look:

My Matchbook Holder Bases are cut from Stampin' Up's Coffee Break Designers Series Paper at 3-1/2" x 8-5/8" and scored and folded at 3/4", 4-3/4" and 5".

I folded up the 3/4" section and stapled it twice with my SU Stapler (retired) as shown in the picture above.

Using SU's Layering Ovals Framelits dies, I die cut out the 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" scalloped Oval from Soft Sky Cardstock, trimmed a small portion off the bottom of the Oval and adhered it to my Matchbook Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using SU's Coffee Cafe Stamp Set, I stamped the straw in Soft Sky Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock.

Using SU's coordinating Coffee cups Framelits Dies, I die cut out the Straw and the Coffee Cup from SU's Coffee Break DSP.

Using SU's Lemon Zest Stamp Set, I stamped the Leaves in Pear Pizzazz Ink and the Lemon Slice and the Whole Lemon in Daffodil Delight Ink.

Using SU's Lemon Builder Punch, I punched out the Lemons and Leaves.

Using SU's Fine Tip Glue Bottle Adhesive, I covered the Lemon Slice sections with the glue, let it dry and fussy cut out the sections as shown in the picture above.

I adhered the Straw to the back of my Cup and the Cup to my Oval with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I cut a slit in the middle of the 3 section Lemon Slice, adhered it to the Cup with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.  I adhered the 2 section Lemon Slice to the bottom of my Cup with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered the top two Leaves to the cup with Stampin' Dimensionals, one Leaf to the 2 section Lemon with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and one to the bottom of the Matchbook with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using Lemon Zest Stamp Set, I masked and stamped the Happy Birthday Stamp, stamped it onto the whole Lemon in Soft Suede Ink and adhered the Lemon to the Cold Brew Tea Packet with SU's Glue Dots.

I made my second Matchbook the same except I used a different Coffee Break DSP pattern for the Matchbook Base and Cup and I die cut the Scalloped Oval from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock.

I stamped the Cup Lid and the Sentiment in Soft Suede Ink and the Straw in Pear Pizzazz Ink.

Using my SU 1/2" Circle Punch, I punched 3 Circles from the DSP and adhered them to the bottom of my Matchbook with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered two Leaves with Mono Multi Purpose Glue to the back of an adhesive covered Lemon Slice and then the Lemon Slice onto the Cold Brew Tea Packet with SU's Glue Dots.

These Coffee Cup Matchbook Holders are sure fun, quick and easy to create!

My eye is still dilated and my vision is not so good in that eye yet so I hope I got everything posted correctly as it is still so hard with a Boo Boo eye!

I've also created 2 more Cards to go along with these Matchbook Holders so I hope you can come back tomorrow to take a look at them!

Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!

Blessings!

Lynn

COLOR-REVAMP_DEMO_HEADER_USCA

In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colors, Stampin' Up! decided it was time to give their color collections a makeover.

With this revamp, you’ll not only have new products, but also have a new variety of shades that will inspire creativity and allow you to explore more sides of your crafting.

There are still four color collections, each with ten colors. There is also a new color group called Basics.
.
In order to keep their color collections to exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors, they moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection and also moved a few colors into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colorful!

Some additional colors have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  These changes were based on needing to maintain color balance in our updated collections.

In addition to new colors, they also redesigned their ink pads. The case is a new, more intuitive design and they’ve improved the formula of the ink, as well! We think you will love these changes.

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to order the new In-Color Ink Pads and I just LOVE the new design.  Stampin' Up! never ceases to amaze me!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
