Coffee Break, Coffee Cafe, Lemon Zest, Coffee Cups - VII

It's a cloudy, cool day out today with the high temperature only getting into the mid 50's.  It's supposed to clear up later this afternoon.

My share for today is 2 more Cards that go along with my Cold Brew Tea Matchbook Holders that I shared with you yesterday.  Let's take a look:

Pictured above are the Cold Brew Tea Matchbook Holders that I shared with you on my blog yesterday.

Pictured above is the first Card that I made to go along with my Cold Brew Tea Matchbook Holders.

My Card Base is Soft Sky Cardstock cut at 5" x 7" and scored and folded at 3-1/2" for a top folding Card 3-1/2" x 5" Card.

My Card Front Panel is a 2" x 4-1/2" cut from Stampin' Up's Coffee Break Designer Series Paper.  I adhered it to the top of my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Stitched Circle Shapes Framelits Dies, I die cut out a 2-3/8" Circle from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock, cut it in half and adhered it to the back of half of one of SU's new Pearlized Doilies.

I adhered my Table Cloth to the bottom of the DSP Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue on the top and Stampin' Dimensionals at the bottom of the Doily.

I trimmed out a strip of Soft Suede Cardstock to measure 1/8" x 5" and adhered it to the bottom of my DSP Panel and over the top of the Doily with Mono Mutli Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Coffee Cafe Stamp Set, I stamped the Hi and the Heart Coffee Stopper in Soft Sky Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock.

Using SU's coordinating Coffee Cup Framelits Dies, I die cut out the Tag and Heart Coffee Stopper.  I trimmed the Heart off the top of the Coffee Stopper die cut and adhered the Tag and Heart onto SU's Corrugated Elements Embellishments and to the DSP Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

Using SU's Linen Thread, I tied a tiny Bow and adhered it to the Tag with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

I fussy cut out the Coffee Pot and 3 Coffee Cups from SU's Coffee Break DSP and adhered them to my Table with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the inside of my Card:
I die cut out my Cup from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock and the Lid from Coffee Break DSP.

Using SU's Lemon Zest Stamp Set, I masked and stamped the Happy Birthday in Soft Suede Ink onto the Cup.  I also stampe the Leaf in Pear Pizzazz Ink and the Lemon Slice in Daffodil Delight.

I adhered the Lid to the Cup and to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Lemon Builder Punch, I punched out my Lemon Slice and Leaf.

I fussy cut out two sections from the Lemon Slice, covered them with SU's Fine Tip Glue Bottle Adhesive and let them dry.

I adhered the Leaf to the back of the Lemon Section and to the bottom of my Cup with Mono Mutli Purpose Glue.

For my Second Card I made a Shaker Card:

My Card Base is Pear Pizzazz Cardstock cut at 5" x 7" and scored and folded at 3-1/2" for a side opening 3-1/2" x 5" Card.

My Card Front Panel is from Stampin' Up's Coffee Break Designer Series Paper cut at
3" x 4-1/2".

I trimmed out a panel of Soft Suede Cardstock to measure 3" x 3-7/8".  Using SU's Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, I die cut a 2-3/8" x 3-1/4" Oval into the panel.  I lightly traced the Oval onto the DSP Panel so I knew where to stamp my Happy images.

Using SU's Lemon Zest Stamp Set, I masked off the Birthday from the Happy Birthday stamp and stamped the Happy in Soft Suede Ink onto the DSP 5 times inside the Oval pencil lines and below each stamped Happy.  Using a gum eraser, I lightly erased the Oval pencil lines and adhered the DSP Panel to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I cut a panel of SU's Window Sheet to measure 2-3/4" x 4-3/4" and adhered it to the back of the Soft Suede Oval die cut Panel.

Using SU's Foam Adhesive Strips, I adhered the strips all the way around the back of the Oval on the Window Sheet of the Soft Suede Oval die cut Panel.

To fill my Shaker Window:

Using SU's 1/2" Circle Punch, I punched some Circles from a scrap piece of Coffee Break DSP.

I fussy cut out 2 one section pieces of the Lemon Slice from my first Card.

I fussy cut out 1 Coffee Cup from Coffee Break DSP.

Tip: (After playing with my Shaker for some time, it created a lot of static in my Window so the Gold Glitter Flakes started sticking to the Window.  You can use SU's Embossing Buddy and rub it over your inside Window to help stop the static.  Of course, I forgot to use it.)  😞😞😞

I put all the pieces on top of the Stamped Happy's and some of SU's Gold Glitter Flakes (Retired), removed the backing from the Foam Adhesive Strips on the Soft Suede Oval Panel and adhered the Oval Panel over the top of my Shaker Goodies and centered on my Card Base.

Using SU's Lemon Zest Stamp Set, I stamped my Lemons and Leaves as stated above and adhered them to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

For the inside of my Card:

Using Coffee Cafe Stamp Set, I stamped my Straw in Soft Sky Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock.  I die cut it out with Coffee Cups Framelits Dies.  I also die cut the Cup from Coffee Break DSP and the Lid from Whisper White Cardstock.

I adhered my Cup together and to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using Lemon Zest Stamp Set, I stamped the Whole Lemon in Daffodil Delight Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and punched it out with SU's Lemon Builder Punch.

I masked and stamped Birthday in Soft Suede Ink onto the Lemon and adhered the Lemon over the Cup with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

I hope you can come back tomorrow when I'll share two more Matchbook designs.

These Matchbooks and Cards sure make for some excellent gifts and so fun to make!!!

Again, I hope I got everything posted correctly as it is still so hard to write and type up a blog post with a Boo Boo eye!  And, I may have to go back as my eye will not un-dilate now!  Geesh!

Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!

Blessings!

Lynn

COLOR-REVAMP_DEMO_HEADER_USCA

In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colors, Stampin' Up! decided it was time to give their color collections a makeover.

With this revamp, you’ll not only have new products, but also have a new variety of shades that will inspire creativity and allow you to explore more sides of your crafting.

There are still four color collections, each with ten colors. There is also a new color group called Basics.
.
In order to keep their color collections to exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors, they moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection and also moved a few colors into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colorful!

Some additional colors have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  These changes were based on needing to maintain color balance in our updated collections.

In addition to new colors, they also redesigned their ink pads. The case is a new, more intuitive design and they’ve improved the formula of the ink, as well! We think you will love these changes.

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to order the new In-Color Ink Pads and I just LOVE the new design.  Stampin' Up! never ceases to amaze me!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
